Back to back 7 day Magic?

Has anyone done back to back cruises on the Magic? We are booked for 10-19-02. We were/are considering another cruise in August. But we were just talking about doing 10-12 as well as 10-19. This would save us money and time overall, plus we would get to see Eastern & Western itineraries.
The only problem is being gone for 16 days. One day on each end of the cruise for driving. We have never left our cats for that long of time. 12 days is the longest.
Any input?

Your cats will just appreciate you more when you return home. I assume that you have someone to look after them while you are gone. I say "Go for it!!!"
