I've been waiting patiently for weeks for SWA to open up their next batch of flights. I heard rumous that it was going to happen this morning, so I woke up early (on my day off!). And guess what? NO NEW DATES! :headache: Oh southwest, do you not realise you are the last piece in my free dining puzzle? Everything else has worked out sensationally... now we just need to GET to Florida!!
Anyone else ready to explode waiting for these tickets?

Could still be today - they usually have the ding sometime through the morning!
We scored our flight for Aug/Sept on Air Tran!

I need flight on the 8th and 16th of September.
BitsnBearsMom, if you don't mind me asking, how much did you pay for the Airtran tickets?
To be honest, I haven't lloked any other company, just waiting for SWA...

We paid about $700 for 4 of us return - flying BUF to TPA for the cruise and then MCO to BUFafter Disney - I'm sure we could have done better if we'd waited a bit longer but I like to have all my ducks in a row - plus we are going with my brother and his family and wanted to make sure we were all on the same flight AND my brother didn't like the idea of the A B C boarding with Southwest!
Just paid $640 for our Air tran flights for 4 for the May long weekend!!

I got Airtran for late Aug, returning Sept 1st - Detroit-MCO - $425 US total for 4 of us return. :cool1: :cool1: :cool1: I got a $27 special for the way down and $59 for the return flight home.
good luck to everyone that's waiting for new dates! pixiedust:

It looks like those tickets will go on sale 4/26. That might change, but it's our best guess at this point. A few people have been told this is the 'tentative date' by SWA staff.
Good luck!
I think I would like to join your waiting train. I need tickets on Southwest for October.

the rates were released! Buffalo was still to $$ but got Detroit for 4 people for just under $800 US. Now... where the heck do we stay in Detroit the night before?
thanks for the heads up on this!

I just checked ... if you go into "book a flight", the new dates are not showing up yet. If you click on "book travel", the new dates are there, but nothing spectacular ... $168 in September right now. :scared1:
I'm watching for DING's for my DSis so I'll post if something comes up. :thumbsup2

The $168 flights seem kinda high, but the total for flying SW out of Buffalo is still less than half the cost of flying out of our local airport. I'll take it!:thumbsup2
I booked our flights down for $89. Not the best deal, but I will wait to see if I can get a Ding, and apply the funds to our return. I will take the chance to see if they lower the prices for our return. $168 is too high.
I will be waiting and checking for that Ding!!:surfweb:

How did you get $89?
I can only get 168 each way + taxes.
That's WAY more expensive than flying from Toronto with Sunwing's sale.
Too bad Sunwing only flies on Sundays at odd times, but I might change my plans and fly from Canada.
Very disappointed at the SWA prices

It's $89 out of Detroit. Still not a great deal if you ask me.

Spirit out od Detroit is 69-89 each way and often times have sales at 6-9 bucks each way DTW to MCO.

We are flying out of Buffalo on October 3. It is a Tuesday. I planned leaving on a Tuesday, because historically, Southwest has had cheaper flights on Wednesday and Tuesdays. My flight back in October 13. It is a Saturday. So the fare to come home was $168. I am waiting for a return price that is less than that.
