Ever feel like you just need a hug? Or maybe even some pixie dust? Ever feel like you want to tell someone about a problem but, can't seem to do it inperson. Well, I bet everyone has had a problem at least once. So, I thought it was a GREAT idea to start a thread where everyone can state a problem and maybe get some great advice on how to fix it.
I don't know how everyone will feel about this but, I thought I could give it a shot! :confused3

I guess right now I'm not having any MAJOR problems. But, if I run across one, I will surely come here for advice! Oh and I love giving advice so remember, I'm here!

My mom, we've just been fighting a lot lately. Arguing about the littlist things. I don't know if it's omething going on with her, or it's what's going on with me, but I want it to stop. I don't know how though, I can't just "talk" to her about it.
Any useful advice?

Hey kailey! it's savannah by the way. I think maybe the "biggest" problem I've been going through is just, you know, my dad not being around as much. I miss father-daughter time. But atleast I see him every two weeks. Some people don't even have a dad.

I live in a house with three women. The estrogen level is through the roof, and we get to a point where we are at each others throats.
Don't speak.
Thats the only way to fix it. She won't stop, so you have to.
When she gets testy, don't fight back. Just go with it.

Jaimie has a point. Grin and bearing it can help. Just don't talk back like Shelby said.
Having quarrels with your mom about everything is normal for me on a daily basis. In fact, I have this look I give my mom when I'm sick of the little {Billy's word} nitpicky things going wrong and my mom throws a fit about it.
Wearing a coat
Brushing my hair.
Not so much perfume
Too much time on the computer
Leaving a paper on the table before dinner
Not letting the dog out
Not letting the dog in
Not putting away my laundry
The list can go on and on. That's just what happens.
Everyone quarrels with their mom.
Everyone gets mad.
We're only human. No one's perfect. No one.
My mom would tell me to grin and bear it.
And be sure, after the grinning and the bearing, to shut up. Not say anything back. Not adding oxygen to a fire. I've learned the more you react to my mom bugging me the more she bugs me. The more she tries to tell me what's wrong and right. Sure she's a mom and I admire her for trying to make me perfect but it won't happen.
So: Grin, bear and shut up.

My advice is to do small things to get on her good side. Try and make things better. The only to work things out if for at least one person try. If you don't try and work things out nothing will ever get solved.
