beach visit?

We would like to end our DL visit with one night at the beach, so I could really use some help for a recommended beach and resort/hotel for a family of 5.

We will fly out of LAX if that matter.s

I would look at tripadvisor.com and do searches for Santa Monica and Marina Del Rey (if you want to be near LAX) or Huntington Beach or Newport Beach if you want to be near Disneyland.

I read somewhere that Huntington beach was voted Californias most family friendly beach. We really like it there.
