Question: When printing a picture from computer for Disney scrapbook do you have to use acid free photo paper? I'm starting my first scrapbook for my Disney Cruise and would like to print pictures from Disney Cruise line website. Like Palo menu, Mickey pool, ship layout, etc. I have had no luck finding Epson scrapbook photo paper which is semigloss and acid free. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. I can't wait to get started and already have saved images ready to go. Thank you

For the clipart, pics from a website and such I just print them on plain white card stock. I actually use the white sheets that come in the album when you buy it. I print on a finer setting though to get more detail.
Epson also makes a really nice matte photo paper. It's more like cardstock than glossy paper.
I think you can order the Epson paper through their website and I get mine at Best Buy. Walmart probably carries some photo paper too. And also check Staples, Office Depot, etc....
It's a personal choice for using acid free all the time but I think as long as the non acid free paper does not touch your photos I think you'll be ok. But that is my personal opinion, I'm not a paper expert.
Good luck on your album and if you need anymore help feel free to ask!

I'm like Buffy. I print on cardstock and vellum all the time.

Thank you so much for your reply. Cardstock and normal photopaper will be much easier to find. What is vellum? I am going to try my first scrapbook page this Friday and am so excited. Between my dear friends and this forum I should be off to a great start. I appreciate all you pros out there and for helping new one getting started. Thank you.

vellum is an opaque paper, it is somewhat see through. You can buy it at the craft stores. This will give you an idea of what it looks like.

Oh and when you print on vellum change your settings to transparent paper and let them dry before handling them so the ink doesn't smudge.

CM does a pack of chiffon vellum, which is plain white, and I use it a lot for journalling, recipes etc., especially if I really like the paper underneath:)
