You will LOVE IT!!!! Trust us we would not steer you in the wrong direction!

I have stayed at Pop now many times than I can count and I can't wait to go back! If you need anything just ring us up and we will help!

Well, my DW and I were just having too many WDW withdrawals and we booked a trip this week to WDW for 11/28/08-12/06/2008. :banana: We paid it in full to beat the price hikes too. :thumbsup2 And guess where we'll be staying yet again. POP!!:hippie: Less than 4 months and we'll be there. :woohoo:

I knew you couldn't hold out for very long! Congratulations on booking a new trip! We'll be there from November 25th to the 30th, so let's try to cross paths for a minute. We always enjoy meeting other POPers. This time, we'll be staying at All-Star Music, but we never make a trip without visiting Pop. We wanted the boys to be able to try Music out once, because the girls and I really liked it on our Christmas stay. They think they can't stay anywhere but Pop, but we're broadening their horizons just a smidge. I'll be booking our ten day Pop trip for July/August '09 in a few more days.

Even waiting for the Thanksgiving trip is hard. Everything in me wants to book a late September trip to do MNSSHP again. My bank account is telling me no on that one, though!

Congratulations, again! Let the counting begin!

It was taken from 80's building A, from the third or fourth floor. I couldn't believe when I saw it! I had never heard anything about this before! I love this view!

OMG!!! Seeing all these pics made me realize how much I missed when I stayed there last year. We spent so much time at the parks, I was exhausted when I got back to the hotel. It was just food and sleep. I'm not going to make that mistake twice!

Funny! I was thinking the same exact thing when I saw that sign. So yummy! That was my favorite thing to get in the evening on the way back to our room :lovestruc. I could go for one right now!

I am loving looking at everyones pics.
Does anyone have a pic from the view of a preferred room? Wondering where these rooms typically are and what it looks like.

Check out the preferred rooms map in Post #1 of this thread. The rooms are closer to the main hall than the standard rooms, but the interior of the rooms are identical.

We just got back and had 3 preferred rooms right by the Hippy Dippy Pool, 4106, 4107, 4108. I haven't gotten my picture loaded yet, but they were the best rooms I have ever had at Disney

You are not wasting money at all, we stayed in the preferred buildings at Movies and these were a lot better. We were close to everything

We're here! Yahoo! It is a lot of fun but exhausting!
We might take it easy today so we can hit the parks for our last 4 days! We had our room request honored and can see EPCOT and the top of TOT from our wing. A tree blocks our EPCOT view though.

Please help.... where do I find Potato head at Pop? I haven't seen it yet in my travels! Thanks!

You'll find the Mr. and Mrs. over toward the computer pool. Go past the Hippy Dippy pool toward the other side of the resort. If you walk by the Goofy jets and keep going straight past the Mickey phone, Big Wheel, foosball, you'll see them. Tell them we said "Hey!", and we'll be back to visit them in November. (We're staying at Music, but we always visit Pop, 'cause it was our first resort and our real home! ;)

Thanks for the help! Our feet are so sore and the extra walking just isn't fun!
The days and nights have been nice though and I took the 2 boys for an evening stroll! I love Pop!

Lots of Christmas decorations at Pop. Huge wreaths and Christmas tree in lobby. The store was decorated for Christmas as was the store windows. I was there last December and Pop was fabulous.

My 2.5 yr old is sitting on my lap looking at all of these pictures. She almost jumped off my lap to point at the monitor at these pictures yelling PRINCESS!!!

I will make notes to take arcade pics and at least the outside of the 80's buildings! I am hoping they put us in the 70's but will be happy just being there for sure!

My niece hula-hooping - this is where you bring your car and the staff will get your bags out of your car and take them to your room. The kids had hula-hoops to play with and also chalk to decorate the floor.

You can walk across the bridge. It dead-ends once you are off the bridge with landscaping, which becomes a natural barrier to walking on the land for the Legandary Years as that's prohibited.

I don't have a picture, but since I was just there and used the jack, I can tell you that it is the size of the jack for my ear buds. It worked with my Nano very well. It is not a jack that can charge you MP3. Hope this helps!

I don't beleive Po pdoes that. That is where the Magical Express stops and you unload, but I don;t think Pop has bell hops. You are on your own to take luggage to your room if you drive a car.

They will help you with your luggage and take it to storage if you need to store it.

Whne getting a meal, you don;t have to tell them what snack you want, jsut desert. You can go and get a snack whenever. All meals come with dessert though, and if it is icecream you can go back later to get it. snacks are completely different. You can get icecream with a snack credit though.

Our bus driver to the airport said since you guys are the last to be dropped off since we were B side we get a special offer we get to decide if we want to get off the bus at the B side or stay on and go pick up new guests and return with him ! :lmao: It was funny!

Awesome pic of the arcade! I am so glad you took a picture of how much the points are. My boys lived in the arcade last year and I can't remember how much money we spent. So glad to now be able to know exactly beforehand how much we will sink into that place :laughing: It will be a minifortune I am sure ;) The first words out of their mouth when we told them we were going back to Disney and staying at POP, "Is there an arcade?!" When we confirmaed to them that yes, indeed there is an arcade, they were extremely excited. Not about going to Disney, but about playing in the arcade :rotfl: My boys are so special :rolleyes1 :rotfl:

I especially love the night shots by the pool. It reminds me of last year's trip, where we went swimming most nights after we got back. We weren't too far from the Bowling Pin Pool in the 50's section, and had a blast. In fact, we're staying there again in a few months.....and I'm hoping for the same area!

I love looking at the pictures posted on this thread. We visited the resort in August since we were thinking of staying there on our next trip. I just have to say that, even though the pictures posted are great, they don't do the resort justice! You just have to see it in person! That being said, we took some photos too and I'll post them soon.

All these pictures of POP are great :thumbsup2 I just used the new code that came out for room only and booked us at the POP for the first night of our stay in Dec. That means that in 83 days we'll be at POP :woohoo: :banana: I'm so excited and when I told DD 14 she was very excited too and she said she absolutely loves POP, I can't wait to show her this thread and all these great pictures! DH actually seemed a little excited when I told him we will be staying the first night at POP instead of off grounds and he usually just goes with the flow :goodvibes
