Hi everyone!

We just got back very very very late last night/ very very very early this morning from our planning session trip. All I have to say was it was amazing! In Disney, dreams really do come true!!! :wizard:

I'm exhausted from everything (and a bit depressed after missing my family and Disney World :sad2: it's always tough to go home), so this is going to be really short, but I wanted to leave you with a few teaser pics from last week.

Hi Courtney - ive only just finished reading the 18 pages of pj and have followed the highs and the lows as they unfold (I actually gasped when I read the statement telling the board about the to-be in-laws getting a solicitor involved. It was like finding out an unexpected twist in a good novel!!!) I'm SOOOOOO glad that its one problem you don't have to worry about now

I love the colours you have decided on and also the ones you were contemplating

I truly cant wait to read more ... especially when it comes to reading the events of the day!!!!

I just finished reading your pj, you are such a lovely young lady, my best wishes to you and Eric. I felt so bad for you on his parents reaction to your engagement, as the mother of a 25 yr old son I would have been so proud of him proposing at Disneyland, we love Disney and we have had many wonderful trips there and also WDW. We live between Santa Cruz County and Monterey County and I'm familiar with where you live, but I can see where you would like to be close to your family.

What a dream come true for you getting married at wdw, we've been there many times and I've seen the WP from a distance and I enjoyed the pictures of the interior. I would love to have a renewal you have inspired me.

Thanks everyone for all your well wishes! I am so sorry I haven't had time to update... life has been crazy... especially with almost only 2 months until the wedding! AHH!

I'm so excited to see David Tutera's new show... Thanks so much for the link, ElenitaB! Tt looks so funny... as we all brides know, we can come up with some cRaZy ideas! :rotfl:

Things have been going well lately. I have my bachelorette party in Disneyland this weekend, which I'm so excited about! My cousin and sister are both flying in for the occasion from the East Coast too! They are apparently blind folding me and leading me somewhere at around 11am on Saturday that has a very strick dress code. It makes me somewhat nervous, but if it's the place that I'm thinking of I will be SHOCKED and have a HEART ATTACK because it would be a dream come true.:wizard: I think some of you know that special DL place I'm thinking of... :rolleyes1 ... so I'm not going to get my hopes up since it's all a surprise, but if I'm right I will be doing this dance for a LONG time! :dance3:

If anyone is at Disneyland and spots a blonde headed girl on her bachelorette party, be sure to say hi!!!

Next weekend is Eric's bachelor party, so I should have some time to myself to relax and catch up on Disboards. I can't wait!!

Also, another rather large (and exciting!!) thing has been in the works lately... I'm not going to give away too many details just yet, but there MIGHT be a chance you all can see and experience our wedding too!!!!! My lips are sealed for right now though :thumbsup2

I can't believe that one week from now I will be officially married! I know I've done some big time slacking lately on my posts, but things have been sooo crazy lately I've barely had time to do anything for myself.

First... Club 33 DID happen!!!! Thanks to my future sister-in-law, the bridesmaids were able to have a DREAM lunch at the secret, special club. I CRIED when I walked in! It was an awesome trip and looking at these photos makes me so excited for the upcoming crazy trip to Disney World!! YAY!

I know I've completely slacked with details of our wedding (sorry!!), but you'll still get to know some of the planning details by watching WE TV the week of March 8th. Eric and I were asked by Disney to have our wedding be featured on a Destination Disney Weddings TV special on WE!!! We are so excited! I guess it will be a 1 hour show, dedicated to all types of Disney weddings, including an escape wedding and a wishes wedding. However, they asked that our wedding be the "thread" for the whole show... that means they will show behind the scenes of Disney preparing for our wedding day (floral dept, cake decorating, room decorating, etc), preparing for our rehearsal dinner (yes, even that will be shown on TV!), plus footage of our wedding itself and interviews with me, Eric, and David Tutera! Eric and I can't believe we will actually be able to meet David it person! SOOOO exciting!!! I will definitely let you all know when it will be airing and hopefully that will fill in some of the details that we've changed or that I haven't had time to update.

I better head to bed as we have A LOT of packing tomorrow... not to mention I feel like I've been living at the mall trying to look for super cute "WE interview" outfits! I've come to HATE shopping when I have to find something and yet I come home empty handed... :confused3

I can't believe we head to Disney World on Monday and that our wedding is in less than 1 week! :scared1: AHHH!!!! :woohoo: I feel like we've been planning it forever. If anyone sees us hanging out in the parks or at the Grand Floridian, be sure to say hi! We'll be there through January 10th.

Just wanted to post to say happy wedding day and let you and everyone else know that I saw you guys today!! My DF and I live in Orlando and we were at MK this morning. We went over to the Wave at the Contemporary for lunch and I saw the signs about the reception for Courtney and Eric TODAY and I freaked out! I knew your wedding was in early January but didn't remember that it was today. My DF and I skulked around the ballrooms a little in the afternoon after lunch, and I could see people going in and out of the ballrooms to set up your stuff. We ended up at the GF later in the afternoon, checking out the Christmas decorations, and I saw you and Eric getting your pics taken on the beach! Amazing! I also saw that you had about 5 disney wedding people hanging around watching, plus the TV camera crew! Absolutely amazing! You looked gorgeous! Congrats!

OMG I can't believe I'm already married!!!!! The last few days have flown by with our interviews for WE, meeting David Tutera, our amazing rehearsal dinner, and our absolutely gorgeous wedding. It was definitely a dream come true!!

I can't believe some of you saw me or Eric! That is crazy to think about!!! What a small world!

Eric and I more or less haven't slept more than 3 hours the last 4 nights, so it's off to bed we go, but I wanted to share a few pictures with you of our big day! I'm looking forward to sharing all the surprises that happened that day!!

We're finally home!! I feel like the last few weeks have just been a dream... we actually got home last week, but catching up on work was such a nightmare that I didn't even have 5 minutes to myself. So happy to have a chance to at least share some of our professional photos with you tonight! I can't wait to get started on our TR, although since we were there for SOOO LONG, be prepared for it to take a while :o)

I wanted to be able to post a vendor review tonight, but I have so much to say that it will take forever! I used About Face for the hair & make-up for me, my mom, my flower girl, and all my bridesmaids. Kaylee was the About Face artist who did my hair & make-up for both my wedding and MK photo shoot. She did an amazing job, definitely made sure I was happy the whole time, and was so much fun (even at 4am!!!) I HIGHLY recommend them. Actually, About Face was recommended by our videographer as the top hair/make-up artist in the Orlando area and I definitely believe it!

I just finished watching the special it was so beautiful, I loved the colors for the rehearsal dinner and the location awesome, everyone looked like they had a wonderful time and to top it off with illuminations.

Your dress was so elegant and timeless, and Eric looked so handsome and you were truly a princess. David is so talented to take the Contemporary Convention Area and convert it to the most gorgeous reception it was truly magical.

Before I head to bed, I though I'd share my first impressions:

1. It's WEIRD hearing your voice on tv. It kind of makes you want to crawl and hide somewhere :rotfl2:

2. I LOVE David Tutera and Chef Robert. They are two of the best men in the world (besides my Eric and Edward Cullen, of course)

3. Eric was into Disney too... I swear I didn't force it on him :rolleyes1 Although I'm mad he picked the magic word "experience!" HMPH

4. I'm surprised by how much filming we did that ended up not being used!

5. Overall we LOVED it and can't wait to watch it again and again! What a wonderful memory!! :love:

The show was really fantastic. It was nice to have the truly elegant side of DFTW shown to the public. So many people don't realize all the fantastic things you can do at Disney. I work in TV and I know how much footage can get cut when doing a final production. Will you be able to get a copy of the raw footage from WE?

So my sister DVR'd a Disney Wedding special on WE. I'm off today and deceided to watch it. They introduced the happy couple and I thought they sound familiar. AHA!! I've been lurking on and off on her thread! WOW! This is too cool :)

I hope that you'll pop back over here and check this at some point. I just had a chance to watch your wedding on Wetv, and it was awesome! I love your reaction when they surprised you with the carriage. It was amazing. You and your DH look very happy together, and so composed on TV.

I also loved the colors of your rehearsal dinner. You have inspired me for our reception!

Your video is amazing! It made me cry! You two had the most beautiful wedding. I have watched the tv special so many times (we have it saved on tivo). Every time I see it I always wonder why more orange wasn't incorporated? Oh well it seems like everything was perfect without it.

Hi Danielle,

Our shot glass flavors were:

bubble tea, berries with grand marnier sauce, pannacotta with chocolate caviar (aka ying/yang), and green tea cheesecakes

They were amazing!!!!

Hey Courtney - saw you guys in the Disney wedding show a few nights ago. I just love watching that. I am sure you guys had wonderful memories. Even though we were married over a year ago - I still love coming on these boards and connecting with everyone and checking out everyones photos.
