A friend made this delicioius chocolate bundt cake. She gave me the recipe and I CANNOT find it! I hate to ask again, she was so sweet and prompt with the recipe.

Anyone have it? I know it had chocolate chips, sour cream, kahlua, and said you could top it with powdered sugar.

I'd love it if you have it!

TIA!

1 package of chocolate cake mix
1 3oz pkg instant chocolate pudding
2 cups sour cream
4 eggs
1/3 cup Kahlua
3/4 cup oil
1 12oz pkg semi sweet chocolate chips

Mix first six ingredients until well blended, stir in chocolate chips. Pour into well greased bundt pan, bake 350º for one hour.

hmm, I'm going to have to give that one a try! I usually make Black Russian cake, but this one with the chocolate chips sounds yummy...

Thanks so much! Going to make it this weekend. The pudding mix is rare to find here...maybe the grocery Gods will smile down upon me:goodvibes I found sour cream, which is also tricky to find!!! I'll just omit the pudding, should be ok.

I really, really, appreciate the help!!!

I made it last night! Yum, Yum, Yummy!!! I took it outside and shared with the neighbors, they were so impressed! So easy to do since it starts with a cake mix!

Below is a link to the Food TV channel's site. This is the Alton Brown recipe for making your own pudding mix. I have used this several times with decent results.

I've been substituting Splenda for the sugar, but I'll bet that's difficult to find there, too!

Thanks Jean! Yup, Slenda isn't easy to find. I did find it once and boy was it expensive. It was a big bag, but it was the equivalent of $30! I couldn't quite justify that.

The kids would like pudding every now and then, I'll try the recipe!

My college room mate's mom used to make a cake like this, but I don't think she used kalhua. I think I'm going to try this, though...if it's like the cake we had in college, it will be very dense and rich.

I made this again last weekend for a going away party....YUM-O! The lady who is moving asked me to make it one more time for her before she moves! Lucky for her she has a Birthday in a week!!!

I love this recipe. I am looking for a Pistachio bundt cake recipe. It was made with pistachio pudding and was so moist. I think the frosting was also pudding with cool whip. Sound familiar? Thanks
