Hi Folks,
We will be going to MNSSHP in September with our 11 month old DS. I am trying to come up with costume ideas that will not be to warm for him. Any suggestions are appreciated.:listen:
The only idea I have are Mickey or a pirate. I am trying to keep him as comfy as possible.
Creative minds please help!

What about peter pan, a prince, anyone from star wars I know for sure disney has a safari outfit in AK. I have seen some really cute pirate costumes for that age. Have fun w/ which ever you choose.

I too am looking for costumes for my children during the PPP in August. They are pirate: 11, pirate: 10, princess: 1. Any suggestions would greatly be appreciated.
And if anyone knows a good place to find them online or in a store would be great.
Thanks

I forgot to mention a the doodlebops also. Have ya'll checked out disneyoutlet.com they still have several costumes for children and adults from last year. I have found some really nice costumes on ebay for good prices. They are mostly what the costume stores online sell but are often cheaper or if the costume store is out of stock ebay has them. The same thing for girls for disney and highly recommended site on the BBB thread in my sig is mydressuptrunk.com.

When we went in October 2005 we went as the Hercules family. Our youngest DS went as pegasus. I used a very lightweight fabric to make the costume. It was a warm night, but he was fine in the costume. Here are a couple of pictures

Very cute! :thumbsup2 Unfortunately, I am not as talented as you. I can sew a button on, maybe even a tail to a costume but that is the extent of it!:rotfl2:
Thanks again for sharing.

We went to MNSSHP in Mid October 05 and we all dressed up as Star Wars characters. I was Princess Lea, DH was Luke Skywalker, DS (10) was Darth Vader and DS (3 months) was Yoda. We had the best time. It was a little warm, but not too bad.
While we were eating at LTT, Chip (or Dale, can't remember) guided my DS (Darth Vader) to another part of the restaurant where another little boy was dressed as Obi Wan Kenobi. He and my DS had a little mini battle in the middle of the restaurant. It was great!
I'm sorry, I don't remember where we got the costumes, I just did a search online & bought them.
