Last year, I sent my person a pair of flip-flips and a pair of flip-flop slippers that I found at JCPenney. They were so soft and I am such a fan of anything flip-flop, that I bought a pair for me too. Great for throwing on around the house or hotel room at WDW in the summer. :)

I had more success at the mall--the Disney store had some cute flip flops so I bought my exchange person a pair & bought myself a pair, a tote bag & a Mickey Mouse shirt! 2 bottles of nailpolish
some green tea lotion
some Caress body wash
some bath fizzers
a nail file on a keychain (I always need one when I am out, so it's perfect)
some mint chocolate chip lip balm (it smells so yummy!)
a clear plastic lip shaped container with lip gloss inside that is on a keychain
2 book marks
some nail and toe decal art with skulls and other cool things
And of course, some flip-flops. lol

They are black with white skulls on the strap. I saw those at Payless and tried them on. I wanted a pair but didn't get them, now I'm glad I didn't! lol

They remind me of pirates and of course pirates remind me of Capt. Jack (total hottie) and the POTC ride at Disney (totally fun), so that's why I love them.

Everything was so fun. Some of it reminds me of being a teen-ager again. lol I am sure my DD will want some of this stuff but hands off! I was feeling old today :rolleyes: and this was nice to feel like a I did when I was a teen and came home from the mall with all kinds of fun stuff.

I'm glad to hear that he outgrew most of his problems. We're hoping Luke will too. We see Birth to Three, a teacher and a speech pathologist. We're meeting the OT again soon. He'll be transitioning into the school system when he turns three in June and he's already been approved for special ed preschool three days a week starting in the fall. Sometimes I feel like it seems so bleak and then he'll turn around and surprise us. I guess you just never know with kids. I will have to go check Payless for him,although he can't figure out how to put them on or keep them on he seems to love them

We had to go shopping after we went by the post office (and I didn't have any scissors to cut the flip flops apart) and she wore them still attached to each other around the store...you can just imagine the looks we got. :lmao: Finally when we went by the cell phone store, the guy pulled out his pocket knife and cut them for her. She also spent a good 10 minutes this morning trying to decide which pair to wear today.

She actually received 2 packages yesterday and I'm not sure which items came out of which box as they were ripped into and strowed through my car before we pulled out of the post office parking lot :rotfl2: , but I THINK that included with the flip flops were 2 rubber ducks (she hasn't ever expressed interest in these, but she informed that she has "ALWAYS wanted a rubber duck"), a beach ball, sidewalk chalk, candy, nail polish and a jump rope.
