I love it! I of course, I have so much ribbon that I'd need to figure out a way to store the million cards I'd have. :)

Me too but if you could find some kind of box that is tall enough it might work. I have 2 lunch pails that might work. Hmmm I see a trip to HD in my future. LOL

I actually tried this and it didn't work that well for me. I fastened the ends of ribbon with a straight pin and some stay but some of the shinier, thinner ribbon does not. Then I poke myself with the pins when I am digging around in the basket looking for ribbon!
It is very cute though!

Most of my ribbon and fibres has come packaged like that anyway - I've got....ooooooooh..... (counts carefully using fingers) FOUR cards with ribbons etc on :rotfl:

VERY cute!
I had a period of time where I was ribbon obsessed and have a ton of ribbon spools. So when I did my scrap room with peg board, etc, I bought two thin wooden dowels, threaded the spools onto the dowels, and hung them on hooks. I had to poke holes through the cardboard of many spools which was a PITA but I love how accessible my ribbon is. If I can't see it, I won't use it!!

I have my ribbon in a cross stitching thread box. I use the little paper cards that you would normally wrap the cross stitch thread on. it works out great for me and if you need a bigger box, check out the fishing section at Wal-Mart. All the thread boxes are is a lure box. :)

Yep I have 4 of those already. They make plastic cards now which are nice. They are a lot sturdier.
