I am sure everyone knows by now, but just in case.

My most sincere prayers to the students and families affected by this travesty.

How awful that the students weren't well informed.:sad2:

What a great idea. I'd love to see as many DIS members as possible dressed in these colors in memorial of the lives lost today. Spread the word.

I'm just disappointed that they don't seem to have the story straight. I've been watching CNN, and they first said the mass killing was first, then the gunman was dead with the last two. Then it was the two, and he was dead with the 31 others. It seems that it keeps flipping between those.

By spreading the word we need to open a room and have everyone wear the school colors.

I have been keeping up with both MSNBC and FOX News and both have been consistent with the gunman killing two in the dorm first, then 31 in the academic hall and killing himself there.

I really think the students should have been warned and under lockdown RIGHT after the university knew about the first shooting. I know the best they knew was that the situation was contained, but still... until the shooter was CONFIRMED elsewhere, extreme precautions should have been made.

Okay, it seems that now CNN is settling on that too.

Only one good thing could possibly come of this: We may not here any more of the Anna Nicole Smith story.

Another great idea. I've opened a room titled "For Today's Loss."

It is simple, but the best I could do with the orange and red I have. Come join me!

Shaymo, I wish it felt appropriate to laugh at the Anna Nicole statement. :goodvibes

Yes, it felt bad to say that anything good could possibly come from it. :(
