We're planning our first disney trip with my almost 5 y.o. girls this fall. It looks like the cirque show is only available to us the evening we arrive. I've heard it's fabulous and dh & I were really hoping to bring the girls to see it.

The problem is that it looks like that first evening would also be our only opportunity to see Spectromagic (the night parade) & fireworks at MK. We may be able to squeeze the fireworks in another night, but it's definitely the only chance for spectromagic with our schedule. We do have Illuminations (epcot) & Fantasmic (mgm) worked in though. And we are also going to the MNSSHP which I think may have a night parade/fireworks as well??

So... my question is... if given the choice, would you prefer to see MK spectromagic & fireworks or the cirque show??

Any input would be much appreciated! Thanks so much!!

I would choose Spectro and WISHES fireworks as that is what Disney is all about....Spectro is my youngest favorite parade and loved it when she was 4 and 5 yrs old...we plan our touring plan around getting Spectro in....

Cirque is expensive....amazing as it is the younger one sometimes don't understand just how hard the stuff is that the performers are doing !!!!

I agree with PP to do Spectromagic and Wishes. When we went in Jan 2006 our kids were 4 and 2 and on our first night we made it to MK just in time for Spectromagic and Wishes after a long day of traveling. It was really magical and they were excited to see the characters. I don't think they could have handled sitting for a long show like Cirque on the arrival day. We would love to see Cirque, too, but we are waiting until the kids are a little older.
