Sounds like she is just doing what is best for you. I am thirteen too, and I know that parents, although sometimes what they say is unfair, are allways trying to help you and do the best for you.

When I was 15 I was going to bed at 10:30 on weekends. I am sorry you can not appreciate your mom. You are still a kid at 13 in so many ways and respect is something that works both ways. You may think pouting and complaining works to get you more time, only temporary. How you handle frustration, shows people you are either acting like a child or a young adult. When your mom sees you acting more and more like a young adult I am sure you will get later bed times.

Wow, that was pretty strong. You should remember that she is trying very hard to care for everyone in you're family. They love you, you just remember that even when they can get strict, deep down, they have a spot just for you.

If you are going to agree with a post simply post your own post say "you are right WDWLIGHTNINGZ I think that hate is too strong of a word for describing your mom and dad." It does not have to be this cheesy, but something like that really people like that remind me of me about 5 years ago when I used to SPAM to get posts on a different forum.

I am 13. I understand what my parents say is final because they are ALWAYS right. One day, when you're a parent, you will understand. You'll just think back and go, "Wow, I used to be like my kids when I was a kid!"

And dont even think about the "I'm not going to be anything like my parents" saying... When people say that, it almost never happens. You become your parents when you're older :scared1: Or at least, it happened to most of the adults I know...
