Hi again!
Okay, another question! Can you tell me good restaurants that are kid friendly? We are doing one day at IOA and one day at USF with an evening at HRH before. Thanks! (we are staying at HRH for the weekend)

Gosh, I'd think ALL the restaurants at Universal are kid-friendly. Kids, after all, are a major chunk of the visiting public so a great deal of effort is made to accommodate them and their tastes -- kids' menus and the like.
That said, perhaps Circus McGurkus in Seuss Landing at IOA is the most kid oriented, given the themeing, which is really stoopendous!

I would agree that all of the restaurants are probably very kid friendly with maybe the exception of emeril's which by the fact that it has no kid's menu strongly implies they don't want kids!
You didn't say the age of your kids, but margarittaville has music vidoes of jimmy buffet and this little volcano show which I think would entertain kids. (my toddler was actually a bit frightened by it at first but got over it).
Hard Rock Cafe is always a good hamburger type of place.
We actually took our little guy to the Palm in the HRH and they were very accommodating to kids.

I'll second Margaritaville (great mango margaritas for the grown ups!). Hard Rock was cool but my dh and I appreciated Hard Rock restaurant more than my 7 and 12 year old kids!
I also found every restaurant we ate at very kid friendly.
Mythos (excellent food!) has a great kids menu.

The BBQ chicken on the kid's menu is really good! It comes with corn on the cob. I am tempted to order the chicken myself. :)

We're (mythos) even expanding the kid's men uto include (permanantly) the applejack chicken fingers, and adding a ham and cheddar wrap, and a fish shaped ravioli dish served in a cat in the hat bowl they can keep.
Another suggestion is my alma matter, wimpy's. Their burgers are pretty good (not as good as our's, though) and you can sit in an area where they can see the popeye ride rafts.

All restaurants are great. We have travelled and ate at most restaurants at Universal for the past 3 years with 3 kids now ages 9, 8 and 6. We even did lunch at Emerils for the past 2 years. But as I just wroted in another post. We were not that impressed with Emerils last year (for the money) I would highly recommend Mythos as a nice end restaurant.

It is in Islands of Adventure. I think it is part of the Lost Continent area. It is kind of set back so you don't really notice it. It is really cool inside too. The atmosphere is fun. Definitely try it. For some reason I didn't go the first year. I thought it was going to be Greek food or mostly exotic food. I get nervous because my daughter has so many food allergies. But it is a great menu with lots of choices and very good.

My kids love Mythos pizza! Also another favorite is Mama Dellas, they have a great kids menu, for $6.95 you pick an entree, beverage which can be a marshmellow shake & a dessert ,now that's a great deal! Also since you're staying at the HRH, The Sunset Grill has a great kids menu, the menu itself is really cool it's shaped like an album. They also have some sort of BBQ buffet on Sat. nights from 6:30-9:30 that looked good. (I think it might have even said they have chracters). The only two places I can think of that AREN'T kid friendly are Emerils & Delfino Riviera.

I think the characters show up at the Sunset Grill Tues and Sat evenings.
We were VERY happy with the Sunset Grill. The parks really tired us out and it was nice to have a good restaurant at the hotel. We ate many meals there.
