Hey everyone, never been to DC-only to SW and loved it-is DC worth the money?? MY 2 DD's are 15/12-DH likes this kind of stuff to but it would cost over 1G for the day-of course that would include SW but am wondering-is it worth it? We are staying at HRH for 4 nights, and plan to do USO also
Any thoughts? Thanks...

We did this with our kids and GK's last March. Everyone loved it so much we are rebooked for December 2007. We spent the entire day there, first to arrive and last to leave. We loved the fact that they only allow 1000 persons per day which may the experience relatively uncrowded.
Admission to the park includes all you can eat/drink at the restaraunts, snack bars, and even the alcoholic bar. All guests that enter the park have the option to get a wetsuit to use, and a snorkel and mask to keep.
There was so much to do like swiming in a heated "river" that circles the park, the large array of plant life and in the areef that allows guests to swim with thousands of different creatures, including 8-foot wide rays or looking at the Sharks in the Shark Habitat.
The kids loved the aviary which contains parrots, toucans, and other exotic birds of different types. The "Lazy River" floats directly through the aviary, with waterfalls to keep the birds inside the aviary.
Here is a picture of my GD (age 12) doing the Trainer for a Day:
