How long to get from Epcot resorts to GF?

Does anyone know how long it takes to get from the Boardwalk Villas to the Grand Floridian by monorail? I'm presuming that's the quickest way, and we'd have to board at the entrance to Epcot??

That is the quickest way but you would have to walk through Epcot to get to the front entrance and use your park ticket. Just an FYI in case you weren't planning on using a day on your passes.

Depending on a lot of things, especially time of day, that can be a very slow way to get from BW to GF. Another option is take the bus from BW to MK, then take the resort monorail to GF. If you are trying to getthere for breakfast, you wo'nt be able to do the Epcot thing, you can't even get into Epcot until 10:00am.

We are doing breakfast and pirate cruise in Feb. at GF and have decided to take a cab from BWI. It may cost $ but I think it will be easier!

Another option is to take the bus to MK and then take the boat launch to GF, since it's only about a 5 minute ride from MK on the boat, but 20 min on the monorail from MK.

we are planning a day "off" from the parks that day, and I hate to use our park passes just to get on the monorail at Epcot. The taxi ride would be much faster than the bus, I presume...even if it costs a little money.
