We are staying one night room only. Ok, so the morning of 8/26, you'll go to the the front desk to check out and check back in; I'm assuming that if there is a room change, then POR will handle moving the luggage?

Yes, you'll just need to go down to the front desk and check out and check back in, they'll issue you the new room keys with your tickets & dining plan credits on them, on the rare chance you'll have to switch rooms, the resort will move your luggage for you. We've done split reservations a number of times and have never had to move rooms. The year we stayed at the Boardwalk Inn with 2 reservations (Ap rate for part & package discount for the rest) the front desk actually checked us out and in before we'd even gone down to the lobby and slid our new keys under the door!!!

Looks like we'll be seeing you there! We can check out & in together on the morning of the 26th :rotfl:

It is beautiful and whatever you do, DON'T MISS the piano player in the lounge, he is awesome!! Even after a long day in the parks, he has just what it takes to get your Disney spirit going again!!

9/20-9/29 here! First time at POR here too, although I did stay at POFQ waaaaay back in 1991. :p I don't really care what room they put us in, as long as it's non-smoking, non-connecting and preferably first floor!! (don't want to battle the stairs or hunt for an elevator with a 4 yr old ;) ).
