Hi folks: this is my first post in here and i'm so excited about joining your group! I was wondering about booking flights to Orlando in November of this year. When is the best time to consider booking our flights? I see, right now, that the flights are a fortune. I'm really hoping seat sales will come on later in the season. Would appreciate any advice on this matter. Did read the info on cheaper flights from Maine or Boston but my DH won't drive the length of himself !! He hates being in the car for more than an hour so driving to the States is out. Thanks all!

Welcome!! Fellow Nova Scotian here. We just returned however we drove to Boston. I'm not one for long drives either however it truly was a nice peaceful drive and I'm looking forward to it again next year. Bonus was we saved over 3000. Halifax flights are insanely expensive, especially for our family of five.

Keep checking Westjet and AC for lower fares. My parents just returned they did fly out of Halifax. They paid 1250 for 2 people. Now and then I have noticed seat sales and have seen seats for 550. Long are the days I think of 300 CAD return

Goodluck!
