Laundry at OKW

Do the studios at OKW have washing machine and dryers (IN them)?

I vaugly recall that the studios do not have laundry facility IN them. If they are not IN them, how close are laundry facilities?

Just some last minutes questions before I am ther for next week!! my first time at a DVC property and am looking forward to hearing the tour while there.

no they don't but the washer and dryers are next to the quiet pool and they are free

Actually, all 4 pools have laundry facilities at them, not just the quiet pools.

Hello fellow Rochesterian! We had our first stay in an OKW studio a couple of weeks ago and had asked for a pool-view so we were right next to one of the quiet pools and the laundry facilities. It was very handy. FYI, even though the washers and dryers are the coin activiated type they are free to use.

where is the laundry facilities for the main pool please? I know where it is at the quiet pool - but I couldn't find it for the main pool.

The laundry at the main pool is near the pool steps on the side of the kiddie pool, near the shuffleboard area...if I'm recalling all the details correctly. I believe there is some landscaping between the pool and the sidewalk that goes directly into the laundry room.

I will say I wasn't impressed with the state of the washers and dryers in there in Aug. 2000, but I think I recall reading that they have since been replaced.
