I am always a day late and a dollar short. For weeks I have been reading about the UK "buy one adult ticket/get one child ticket free" deal. After weeks of agonizing over what to do, where to stay, etc. we are finally ready to call an order these tickets and SUPRISE they are available to UK residents only (which would make sense except that I read numerous posts from people that live in the states that have been able to purchase and use them with no hassles at all). The supervisor I spoke with said "Yes, we changed the requirements for this about two weeks ago." JUST MY LUCK - ARGHHHHH!!!!!!!

Now we won't be able to go as I sold this as a very "inexpensive trip" to pop over to Universal at the end of our Disney trip. Unfortunately it is much less $$$ to tack an extra day or two on our Disney trip as opposed to hopping over to Universal so I guess we will have to wait for another year. Thanks for letting me vent!!!!!

how about the one that is offered to canadians, is that one still available to anyone?

i know about blowing the moment. i have done UO since 93 and always tried to stay on top of things. the day i went to order the meal deal w/mc of $5 off, it was removed. a bummer for me but nothing like the disappointment you have for your trip.

i do hope you can snag a deal before your disney trip so you can make it over to universal even for a brief visit.
