Just was looking to book airline tickets and ran into a problem. I took oldest DGD last year and had no problems as her last name and mine are the same. Now these girls have different names and the airline is saying that I need written permission and some sort of ID for them! What changed??:confused3 The oldest girl does live with me and so she had the same address. The agent that I talked to said without these things, I cannot take them! What do I need to get?? I was so upset that I didn't ask what I needed. What kind of ID?? What has to be written on the permission slip? Does it have to be noterized? The parents are divorced so does that mean that I have to have a permission slip from both parents? I am so upset now, that I am not thinking clearly. Any help would be appreciated!

I never heard of that, at least for travel with in the US. Lots of kids have different names now. I traveled with my nephew many times with a different last name without problem. Kids don't even need ID to travel they never ask to see anything. I think you just had an over doing it agent, I'd call another one. Why did they need the address? I'd do it on line.
