What kind of Favors are you giving guests?

We are planning on having mini champagne bottles with customized labels for our guests this way at least our out of town guests will be able to keep it without worrying about it spoiling. What is everyone else doing? Thank you for your ideas!

We made gift bags for all of our guests. We went to the WDW outlet near our house and racked up on things like tote bags, backpacks, t-shirts, fridge magnets, coasters, hats, bags, golf balls. I bought a Disney tie for each guy attending the wedding on eBay (they only cost about $3 each!). I also bought m&ms in our wedding colors and put those in little cones I found on eBay. We are baking cookies shaped like Cinderella's slipper and Mickey's head. We are also including snacks and bottled water. DF is slipping mini bottles in some of the bags!
For the wedding day we are giving everyone Mickey ears and we also have Cinderella wedding cameras (eBay again for the cameras).
For our dinner we are using character photo holders to hold the place cards and letting the guests take them as favors.

For our wedding favors I bought 2x3 picture frames from favorwarehouse.com for 69 cents a piece. Here is a picture of the frames. I was very happy when I saw them in person,they don't look cheap.

Randy is taking our pictures at the Grand Floridian when we go down next month so when I get the pictures back I am going to put them in the frames.

We are having Disney floral make us the dark chocolate mickey hats (you know they look like mini versions of the classic mickey ears hat)

I found a candy mold on ebay of cinderella's coach. I'm making raspberry white chocolate coachs in cellophane bags that will be in favor boxes from michaels. I'm also attempting to make fans.

We gave them those light-up blinking necklaces (the five color ones from the WDW light up carts)...Our cocktail hour was during illuminations

For our wedding luncheon, we got chrome heart letter openers that came individually packaged with a love poem, ribbon and tag - only $1 each - also thinking about getting personalized M&M's

For our actual wedding , we are making gift bags for each room. We got great JACK SKELLINGTON gift bags on ebay...also got Nightmare buttons. We are putting in coffee mugs with the Inn's logo filled with Halloween candy and we got these great scented halloween candles engraved with spiders on them..last but not least, when we are in Disney for a quick trip next month, I will be buying bath bombs to put in each bag also..

believe it or not - I'm still trying to think of more stuff!!!!

For our reception we gave out a Disney beanie for each person (they had name tags on them) and did a donation to a charity DH & I love. We tried to match the beanie to our guest's interests/likes as much as possible! Otherwise, we gave out Minnie, Mickey, or Donald ones because they were our special "guests" at the reception. I thought it was cute- it took a lot of shopping trips to Disney!

Absolutley LOVE the Nemo mints! And I really love the charm over the mickey head! Just finishes it!

My engagement party favor can be found in my planning journal. It is a glass slipper ornament with sports chocolates in it!
For our wedding we will be giving out CDs with songs that we have found to be important in our relationship throughout the years!

we are trying to decide between personalized candy bar wrappers with Mickey and Minnie on them OR getting some cute little white favor boxes that say "the perfect match" on top and filling them with the personalized M&M's since those are our initals (Matt and Michelle :) ) i personally like the M&M box thing better but we haven't decided how we want to go...

It's a coaster set...each "puzzle piece" is a coaster....when you put it together it's a Mickey trivet.
I am going to wrap them up with white paper and tie it with ribbon (whatever color I finally pick for my BM's dresses!)

The necklaces we bought when we were at Disney last month have the website www.windycitynovelties.com written on them. It looks like they have gone up in price :( but they are still cheaper than the $5 we paid at Magic Kingdom (plus it's one of those "the more you buy, the more you save" deals.

Ok so we plan on doing welcome bags with disposable camers, chocolate lollipops shaped like sebastian & flounder (bought off of ebay), Seahorse or Shells shaped soaps (going to try and make them, wish me luck!) Tissues, and some other little travel stuff in a canvas tote bag with a disney pic/wedding logo ironed on. (I'm doing a Mermaid theme and I'm trying to do them as cheap as possible)

I also bought Star Wars candy molds for maybe the Reception/welcome party or welcome bag:confused3 Don't know yet

We also want to do place settings with a sand dollar with their names painted on or a seashell with a cut out for a pic/card.

With all that being purchased, we want to do a donation as actual wedding favors in honor of my brother who won't be there (he is mentally challenged so it wouldn't be the best for him to travel:sad1: he would need devoted attention from someone in my immediate family and I know it would be hard for my parents to enjoy my wedding and take care of my brother:sad1:)

We want to do a donation to the variety club or Cure Autism Now, He did the 'follow everything my older sister does' when we were young and Little Mermaid is his favorite movie too, I made him watch it over and over. So we want to incorporate 'Help make disabled children Part of your world' or something but I can't think of good wording yet.

I felt like so much money already goes into weddings, but believe me its been hard not to purchase favors because I have so many cute ideas of things to make, but felt in the end, this is the best thing to do.

I really want them to be in his name, but I know that when done as favors, you are supposed to do it in the guest's name:confused3

That's my idea...
