Is your dd going to dress up as a princess at WDW? What is she going to be?
My Isabella is going to be Belle  I got the dress at the Disney Store, it is the one they put out with their Easter dresses. It is so darling! She will wear it to the Princess dinner in Norway, and for the rest of the night if she feels comfy.
How about everyone else?

My DD wore her Cinderella dress for our dinner at the Castle this past December. The photo we have of DD with Cinderella sits proudly on my desk at work and I just love it!! My DD looks like Cindy's younger sister!!!!princess: princess:

At Disney? Of course....the bad thing is she wants to wear her Sleeping Beauty crown to school every day (she is 3 and only goes 2 days a week - but still) :rotfl:

By this time my girls travel with their own costume trunk! No kidding, we actually ship a box of costumes ahead of time because they take so many!
PSB - dd 1 (9) is wearing Princess Aurora. DD 2 (8) is wearing Belle.
CRT - dd 1 is wearing Snow White, dd 2 is wearing Belle's red dress
1900 Park Fare (after BBB) both girls are wearing their Cinderella dresses
Wonderland Tea Party - both girls wearing Alice in Wonderland dresses, ds (6) wearing Mad Hatter Tea Shirt
Chef Mickeys - both girls wearing their Minnie Mouse costumes, ds wearing his Mickey costume
Ohana - ds wearing his Stitch costume, girls just wearing tropical dresses and leis
THis all started in 2003 when we were going for the first time. DD (then 4) wanted to bring her costume and I said "Oh no, honey that's only in the commercial". Needless to say that's when we started buying them each a costume every trip. THe best costume was from the 1st year - it was the prettiest white Ariel bride costume they ever had. The new ones can't even compare!

DD(3) loves anything pink, betcha can't guess which princess she's going to be?! ;) We just bought the Princess Aurora petal dress and it is just darling. My dd has this "thing" about costumes being 'itchy' so I'll just have to bring the costume with us and have her change into it before we go to My Disney Girl's perfectly princess tea party and bring comfy clothes to change into after the party. I don't know what she's going to wear to CRT and PSB yet, though! She's going to BBB the the day of MNSSHP and we're getting the castle package so she'll get to pick a new dress there too. I love having two little girls! The baby will be 15 months old when we go to WDW and she has dark hair, so I want to find a Snow White costume for her!

We brought along 3 princess dresses for DD 5 when we went in January. princess: She wore Sleeping Beauty to the Perfectly Princess Tea, Cinderella to CRT, the BBB, and the Cinderella Dinner at 1900 Park Fare (this was also her birthday,) and Jasmine to the Epcot Princess breakfast. She had so much fun being a princess, and ended up wearing her princess dresses for 3 entire days! :cloud9: Then again, this is normal for her at home, so it was no big deal.
Oh, for non-scratchy dresses, I highly recommend My Dress Up Trunk (http://www.mydressuptrunk.com). Their dresses are well made, gorgeous, and very soft, and they only cost $20.

My four year old was the Auora "flower" dress that was out at the Disney Store this spring. She got lots of comments on it and curtsied for everyone!

I'm glad I'm not the only one who takes our dd to EVERY single princess event and this is our first time going :rotfl: BTW, thanks for the link! Those dresses are adorable and you can't beat the price, especially if they're soft :thumbsup2 I've seen a couple of your other posts and just wanted to say both your daughters are beautiful!

Awwww, thanks. Yes, we went a little overboard, but we'd never been to WDW as a family before, and it WAS DD's birthday after all...! princess:
The My Dress Up Trunk dresses are gorgeous. I think they run big, so definitely get measurements if you order. DD, who is prety big, just turned 5, and I got her the size 3-5. It is just the right length, and the next size would have been waaay too long. We also got the petticoat for extra pouf.

All my DD talks about is wearing her Snow White dress at the Princess Breakfast. She had red hair and gets mad when I call her "Snow Red"!
Also, she plans on wearing her Dorothy dress (just the gingham pinafore) from her Wizard of Oz dress up trunk when we go on the Great Movie Ride. Also, since she is very interested in all things Mary Poppins, I am hoping to find a Mary Poppins costume (Jolly Holiday Dress) for Halloween.

I have several custom sets for my dd to wear when we go. They're not really costumes, just custom outfits that I bought off Ebay.
Belle
Snow White
Minnie Mouse
JoJo
I plan to have a Mulan set made for her too.
So far I've only booked PSB and Chef Mickey's. I plan to book the Playhouse Disney (JoJo) meal tomorrow.

My 2 youngest actually call themselves "Princess Emma" & "Princess Autumn"princess: When we go to CRT or the MNSSHP they each wear a dress, my one dd ALWAYS has to be Ariel though every now and then she will slip on a Cinderela dress. The youngest is not picky, she loves them all!

Well I have a big princess now! DD (16) is wearing her Sleeping Beauty ballet costume for the Pirates and Princesses Party. She loved all the princess costumes when she was little (and I think we had them all) and is still a real girly girl. For this years dance recital her class is doing Sleeping Beauty and the costume is just gorgeous (and for the price Mom is happy she's going to get some other use out of it).

This is why I have a big dilemna right now! I have a trip booked for November to celebrate my daughter's birthday. I already have the Cinderella dress (mydressuptrunk!), and have it all planned. Now we are moving and buying a house, so the money will be tight. I know I should wait until next year, but she will be 9 then, and I'm afraid she won't be so "princessy." Last summer, we went for the first time. She was so into the magic of everything. I want to see that one more time! I'm thinking of just downgrading the trip (7 days instead of 10) and going anyway!

Wow, I'm a rookie here. DD4 does have an appointment at BBB and then she and I are having dinner at CRT. I need to get her a dress to wear to that. She has outgrown her Cinderella dress. That is the only time she'll be dressing up this trip. DS8 will be happy with just a star wars shirt. This is our FIRST trip to Disney World. I can't wait!!!! :cool1:

Hi everyone. We go in 14 days and we have promised both dd19mo and dd4 a new dress each when we are there. The eldest just has a reversable cinderella one (rags to ballgown), she is doing BBB about 7 days into the trip but I bet she will want a dress before then. Which shop is best at the parks to look for dresses? I think she is going to choose Aurora. Will I be able to get something for dd19mo as well? How much will they cost me? At the disney store in the UK they are approx equiv 50usd.
Thanks in advance.
I wish all mums and princesses happy times at wdw.

One of my favorites is Tinkerbelle's Treasures in MK. Of course World of Disney in DTD has a huge assortment of princess dresses too. I think the average I paid is about $55 per dress at Disney. That's been our tradition too - the girls each get a new princess dress at Disney. Luckily ds is much cheaper, except for Pal Mickey, he's usually content with just a hat!

Thanks Disneymomx7,
I'll look out for Tinkerbelle's Treasure's, I would like to wait until world of disney at DTD before her AR and make a big thing of it, but I don't think she'll last that long. Maybe I could just get away with a crown or a t-shirt for the first few days.....
With 13 days to go, this is me at the mo :laundy:

Hi,
DD was 4 on the 4th, we do BBB on the 5th May at 2pm then straight over to MGM for Fantasmic dinner package....if we don't have the TOP package at BBB how do we get photo's, can we get them added to our photopass?
Thanks again, I must say I don't always get my questions answered when I de-lurkk on the non UK boards (I don't smell, you know) but you ladies have been most helpful.
Here, have a Mickey cookie with your coffee. :coffee:
