I can purchase gift cards at cut-rate prices for the following restaurants, but I need to know it any are worth it.

Can anyone comment on Aashirwad, Everglades, or Friday's Front Row Sports Bar? They are all located on International Drive, I believe.

Thanks.

Fridays Front Row is a sports bar--actually, the sports bar around these parts. Serves the same food as any other TGI Fridays (burgers, wings, basic steaks), but the place is heavily themed with sports memorabilia, and has a ton of TVs everywhere blasting every sort of athletic event imaginable. Fun if you're into that sort of thing, might skip it otherwise.

I've only walked past Everglades, never actually eaten there. It's in one of the two Rosen hotels. Looked very upscale, catering to the convention-goers on expense accounts who tend to stay there.

Never even heard of the third one--is it new?

Thank you for the info. I was wondering if the Friday's Front Row...was tied in with TGIFridays. This may be the one, considering we know the menu.

Re: Everglades...We are looking for something more casual than what you say this place might be...it will be later in the evening, after a day of work and then a plane trip from OH to FL. Besides, I am a little skeptical about hotel restaurants. Too many look nice, menu sounds great, but food is often very average, especially for the prices.

Don't know if the other one is new or not. It is Indian cuisine, I think.

Again, thanks for taking the time to respond.

There are some very affordable family restaurants in the Kissimmee/Orlando area, and you can get coupons for many of them from the various free guides available. We really like Cracker Barrel. :)
