We've been lots of times but never tried this. We are FL residents so we can usually get discounts with codes. We will also have annual or seasonal FL resident passes.

Is there a way to make free dining work for us? Or do we automatically not qualify?

If you choose to travel during the free dining dates and call and ask to book the promotion and the CM can find you a room at a resort you like and are willing to pay rack rate for ... I can't see it wouldn't work for you.

Free dining is at rack rates.. No other discounts apply.

Thanks! I guess I'll see if they open it to the general public and play with the dates. What are the rumors about dates and when it will open?

Just also note that you have to not only pay rack rates but purchase at least a 1 day ticket.. I think the dates are Aug. 26 to Sept. 22. You should be able to book tomorrow April 12

I'm a passholder, FL resident, and plan to do the free dining. This past year,I used a former 1 day base ticket towards my AP and I hope to do that again this year.

So we buy one 1 day ticket per person on the reservation or just one total?
