Discover The Magic Tour

We are going to head to DL the first weekend in May and are thinking about taking our two kids ages 5 and 7 on the Discover the Magic Tour. Has anybody done it? Any tips or advice?

That tour will not be open in May. It is not being offered while Tom Sawyer's Island is under construction. Sorry!

We did the tour when my boys were 5 and 7. We had 2 really great CM's as our tour guides and they had everyone (even the big people) involved. We were supposed to meet a princess, but she wasn't there when we got to that part, but we rode the Carousel with Mary Poppins, Bert and the penguin, met Woody, Jessie, Jane, had a nice lunch and received a pin too! It was pricey, but we got an AAA discount and had a really enjoyable afternoon! We planned it during the middle of our trip and it was a nice break from the "normal" DL trip...
