Is it possible to buy AP in advance and book a hoteL?

I have been peeping into some threads, but can not really figure this out yet.

I currently live in UK and am going to DRP in May, and am determined to get the AP.
when you have an AP you can get so may discounts!

but, to get the discounts (including hotels) you need to have the AP in hand.
(have a number to tell them)

on one thread, it said that they told their sponcers` number and they booked it and received the discount.

when I called the resort, they said they needed the number of the person staying.

is there any way that I can book a hotel in advance using an AP which I WILL buy????

I believe you can purchase an annual passport by phoning:

I've not tried this but apparently they give you a temporary pass and then you pick up a proper one whilst there. I'm not sure whether the temp one has the passport number that entitles you to the discounts. Your best bet would be to just call/write and ask.

I just called the Paris office. and they said they do not sell the annual pass through the phone anymore.
so you have to send your application by mail....

I wonder if I can get my information BEFORE I go!!!!

You will need the actual AP number, NOT the exchange voucher number to make a booking, so for your first stay AP rates will not apply

so,,, I guess for the first stay, you will not be able to receive AP discount....

will go there, and buy the AP and use it for dining discounts so on
and NEXT time for the hotel--- I guess~!
