my gf and i were originally set to go for 9 days from may 14-23. it was going to be great!! but then the 40% off email came and we just couldn't pass it up so instead we are now going from dec. 15-24 and it's considerably longer than 33 days. :(

My sympathies Kevin, that would be a tough pill to swallow. But, maybe you can use the time to wander the DIS boards more, get some great ideas and get a jump on some great ADR's for meals you want with certain characters etc... I have never used this, but there is a book about being the Unofficial Planning Guide to your WDW Vacation, or something like that. I know you can get it in the travel section at book stores. If you pick it up now you and your GF can use the time to plan. This can be so much fun!! I love to plan a trip!!!

On a side note, can I ask about the 40% off email you got? Where did it come from? Do you subscribe somewhere to get this sort of thing?

thanks for the wishes. the email i got was awhile back when disney sent out a 40% off room email to certain people. there was quite the brouhaha around here. as for the planning, we had everything planned (even the ADR's) and had to cancel things when we changed, so now it's just a matter of waiting til the 6 month window opens and making the ADR's.

On the good side of that, when May 23rd comes around and you would be going home, now you can say your trip is coming. Time flies and it will be here before you know it. Have fun planning - it is half the fun!
