Questions -- separate checkins and DDP

Another couple is sharing our reservation, and we will already be on property so we would like to check-in as early as possible (even if the room isn't ready) so that we can get our next set of DDP credits.

However, the 2nd couple won't be arriving until mid-afternoon.

How do they do this? Can we checkin and then make another trip down to get them their room key/DDP cards? Do we have to wait for their arrival? They have bought tickets separately (we have APs) so they may want the tix on the room key as well... is that possible?

You'll have to get the entire DDP and keys when you check in. You're best bet is likely to make sure what they want and do it when you check in. They will go ahead and charge the DDP at the time but you can swap it out on other charges if you want or work out some other arrangement since you should know exactly how much the DDP and any tickets might be. I also don't think they'll be able to change things around to get their tickets on the keys but I don't know that for certain, maybe someone else does.

I checked in on Tuesday and had them add my tickets to my room key Wednesday morning. (I forgot to bring them inside when I checked in) It wasn't a problem. They have to be unused tickets.
