Back from our ski trip to Dorset

We just got back today from a great Easter weekend at Warmwell Holiday Park in Dorset. Its a bit like Center Parcs with a ski slope. We went with our friends and had a brilliant time. We were really sad to come home.

We were really lucky with the weather.

On our first day we went to weymouth

We then went for a lovely pub lunch at Smugglers Inn.

After our lunch we walked down to the sea but after my glass of wine I lost my footing and managed to slip over on the rocks! I was a bit stunned and stayed on the floor for a while and here is a photo I took from where I landed

On Saturday we went skiing

The kids really enjoyed the rollerblading

Yesterday we went to beautiful Lulworth Cove and walked to Durdle Dor

Our log cabins were great and it was perfect for a drink in the sun

Looks fab Sue! My parents stay at Warmwell regularly and always recommend it to me and DH. Looks like we may have to give it a try.

How much was the skiing if you don't mind me asking?

The skiing is £10 an hour. You can get a five hour pass for £40 or a 10 hour pass for £60. The passes can be used by the whole party so if there was five of you it works out at less than £10 an hour. You need to bring with you a long sleeves top and gloves. The skis are included in the price.

There is also a lovely lake for anyone into fishing.
