Well, hope you had a lovely easter and ate a lot of easter eggs. And I hope those Digits are OK to ask Nat a lot of weird questions!

Mine unfortunately aren't. A combo of Wii Sports, Hide and Seek with my cousins (Little cousin decided to hide behind our Oil Tanks!!!!! :lmao: ), and some American Football with same cousins, my arms really do not want to work today! But that's not going to stop me Nat! :teeth:

Nat says that she won't be here on Tuesday but otherwise, go for it! :goodvibes And with today being a bank holiday and all..... :goodvibes :rotfl2:

Some questions:

How long have you been here?

How did you find us?

How long were you a "Lurker" before you came on?

Why do you have troubles keeping secrets?? :lmao:

That'll do for now, onto Carol's questions!

Hi Nat,

Thanks for posting so many questions on my week, same goes to everyone else who did of course - think you Carol, Jo and Matt posted so many between you.

Which is your least favourite theme park and why?

Are there any rides that make you feel ill and you have to avoid?

Bearing in mind some of last week's 'emotions' have you got the hankies ready for this week?

Do you sometimes struggle in the Orlando heat around the parks?

Have you travelled around Florida at all?

Actually in real life i hate it ! but somehow on here it seems more personal when people feel able to call me Nat, so please don't stop :)

how long have you been married?
it will be 10yrs in july

how old are your children (who look very cute in your picture)?
thanks :) they are cute most of the time, ellie is 9 and matty is 6

what other jobs have you had?
before i had the children i worked as a veterinary nurse at our local surgery, i worked there for 9 yrs or so and i loved it. i still meet up with some of the girls i worked with occasionally. we were all a similar age and got on so well.

which was your favourite job?

i love my childminding because i enjoy seeing the kids change as they grow up and its so satisfying when you look after siblings of children you used to mind.

Hi Nat
Haven't been around much the last few days as I'm in Suffolk at my Mums but I've now found her PC :thumbsup2:
hi Jo, long time no see ;)

So Where were you born?:
i was born at the George Eliot Hospital in nuneaton

Do you live local to your parents?:
yes about a 5minute walk away from my mum, she still lives in the house i grew up in.

Tell us about your family, siblings etc!:
my mum is great she brought me and my brother up as a single parent, not easy in those days ! and i totally respect her for everything she has done and continues to do. she had a cancer scare when matt was born and it really brought home to me how much i rely on her and also how much she sacrificed when we were younger.
my brother is 18mths younger than me and i love him dearly. we get on much better as adults than we ever did as kids.
my dad died about 11yrs ago and although we had a good relationship when i was a child by the time he died i had my eyes opened as to what he put my mum through (money troubles) and ive never felt the same way for him as i do my mum. to me as a parent you put your kids 1st but he wasn't prepared to make any sacrifices. sorry thats turned into a bit of a rant

How many times have you moved house?:
i moved from my family home in with a now ex boyfriend then went back home. then me and dh got our 1st home together and we moved into our current house when we knew matt was on the way :)

Catch up when I get back to Kent tomorrow night, have a great day at Drayton Manor tomorrow we're off to Colchester Zoo on the way home :yay:

erm i regret not travelling more when i was younger, i left school and went straight into a job

and i really regret moving in with my 1st boyfriend, he left me with trust issues that i could do without

Hi

Haven't been in for a few days but have had fun reading back over all your Q & A's

I used to think you were the lady bent down with your kids in the photo you used to have before until i realised months later it was cinderella - doh!

Where do you find your energy to look after children? I have 2 girls just over a year apart and when they were 1 & 2 I was shattered ALL the time. I love it now they're 3 & 4 but you can't be that choosy when taling on kids - or can you?

What do you do to calm down when they're all screaming or having tantrums or is it true they behave so much better for other people?

If you could give any parenting advice what would it be?

What 3 items would you take on a desert island?

What are you reading now?

Do you read magazines on a regular basis or are you like me - just get to read them at the hairdressers?

How many Easter Eggs did you get and what kind?

Do you do any sports?

That will do for now!

Bye

I used to think you were the lady bent down with your kids in the photo you used to have before until i realised months later it was cinderella - doh!
:lmao: everyone thinks that ! i only wish i was that pretty ;)

Where do you find your energy to look after children? I have 2 girls just over a year apart and when they were 1 & 2 I was shattered ALL the time. I love it now they're 3 & 4 but you can't be that choosy when taling on kids - or can you?
no, im not choosy but i do find that other peoples kids behave better for me because they are not mine ! that makes the job a bit easier ;)

What do you do to calm down when they're all screaming or having tantrums or is it true they behave so much better for other people?
i try to distract them with something fun, failing that i shout as well :rotfl2:

If you could give any parenting advice what would it be?
ive no idea im still looking for the manual myself ;)

What 3 items would you take on a desert island?

Describe a typical Childminding day :)

:lmao: there is no such thing !!!!!

i start work at 7.30am when the baby arrives, she has her breakfast at 7.45 before the next child arrives at 8am.
we leave the house at 8.30 to take my two kids to school before going back to my house to pick up another child who arrives at 9am ( depending on what day it is this is actually 3 different children over the course of the week )
we then do a quick pre-school run before going out for the morning .
we pick up from pre-school at 11.30 and go home for lunch before leaving for a toddler session at the local church then back on to the school run to collect my two kids and drop off the child who goes home at 3pm (this is one of the 9am kids)

are you still with me ????

after school we do a variety of different activities or go to the park.
the children leave between 4.30 and 5.30 so at 5pm if they are still here we do a tidy up and then have a half hour calm down session.

twice a week i work till 6.30pm so wind down starts later :headache:

ive probably made that sound really boring now :rotfl2:

:wave2: Hi Nat

Sorry I haven't been around to post any questions this week what with school holidays and organising the family/house so they won't all expire while I'm away next week. Here's a couple from me ....

If you could live anywhere in the world where would you live?

If you could have any job what would it be?

If you could marry anyone in the world who would you choose?

Hi Nat,

Johnny Depp or Johnny Sharp?

What us your favourite music from any of the parks? I know I like the movie music as we enter Universal Studios (hopefully you will too).

Do you think ALL the attractions should open at 9am? I have always felt there are too many (not necessarily at WDW), that open at 10 and sometimes 11am.

Which TAG - Johnny 'villas' or the banana one I have at present?

Afraid not, Joshua didn't like it really, fortunatley Cheshire Oaks retail outlet is closeby so we went there afterwards, Josh sat with me part of the time in the car watching his portable DVD player and we had a 'picnic' there too.

On the subject of shopping, there are a couple of stores in Orlando I really like, Tommy Bahama at the Mall At Millenia (I always buy some silk shirts from there) and Oakley at the Florida Mall (I buy anything there!)... do you have any favourite shops in Orlando too?
