Arriving at SSR via car ?

We'll be using a rental car while on our Saratoga Springs vacation in July. I know that the main entrance in on Community Drive (or whatever its called now). But I'll be coming down Hotel Plaza Boulevard onto Buena Vista Drive and seem to recollect that there's a road into SSR that must run near the Congress Park section and go through the resort to the check-in area (I've walked the resort, but haven't driven through so I have a general idea of where things are). My question is... Can I use that road on arrival or do I have to swing around to the main entrance?

I think that entrance is gated and have only seen busses use it. You will have to go around to the guard shack. Now it may be something you can use once you have a room key, ask at check in to find out for sure.

You are most welcome. I have often wondered myself if that is a gate we can use once we have a room key. Unfortunatley I never have remembered to ask.

I'm pretty sure we used our room key to get in that entrance in January. You can get out that way for sure...but we're usually so exhausted when we come back, I forget whether we went in that way or not. :rotfl:

Yes you have to have your Room key to get into that entrance.

Now there is a camera and call button I used once when my key would not work. But they sent a guard instead of buzzing me in. he asked to see my room Key , made a call and it worked.

Thanks to everyone on this. It probably doesn't save a lot of time, but that way in and out seems pretty convenient. We'll definately be using it in July.

Yes it's very nice to get in and out of when we go on our grocery runs to the Publix on Vineland.

Also it's real easy to follow signs to DTD then you make that left and the next and your in ,very simple.
