Just got the first 3 nights of our first GV that we were wait listed on for March. Only 2 nights to go!

Jut finished booking the first week of November vacation for BWV during Thanksgiving again! 2br preferred ~ one week to go.

and to top it all off...

19 Days 0 Hrs 20 Mins 35 Secs - until our 7 night magic cruise!

We'll see you there, we're booked Nov. 19-29th... For certain the first week & a half we'll be pool hopping everywhere!!

Does anyone have a take on whether or not Disney will offer the MVMCP the weekend after Thanksgiving? Since Thanksgiving falls so late, I'm thinking they will offer MVMCP on the 29th... I'm not sure how they've done it in the past where Thanksgiving fell so late.... (we check out on the 29th, but we may not fly out til the following Monday morning, depending on airfares & Disney festivities)

I can tell you this year the first date was 11/29 - I was there :D

So I would assume so, the only catch is it will be a holiday weekend and a mad house. I think I'll wait til the following week. Planning on 11/24-12/08

Hi Pluto,

I'll agree with you about the place being a madhouse LOL... but our AP's expire on 12/3 or 12/2, so we have to go the week before Thanksgiving... The best we can do, is to go on that Friday or Saturday following Thanksgiving... Course the only thing we've got going for us in that regards, is that they do limit the number of tickets sold to MVMCP... I wish I knew in advance how the airfares would be & how Disney is going to schedule the festivities, the waiting will kill me!!! :D

Ahhhh Pluto, you're killing me... free air... Well, I won't despair, I have 600.00 in gift certificates for SWA that cost me 170.00... We need four tickets from the Northeast however & Thanksgiving weekend can get VERY pricey!!!

but you couldn't have made ressies for the evenings of Nov. 31st, or December 1st yet, as it isn't 11 months out yet. Those ressies cant't be made until this coming Wed. Jan. 2nd, 2002. I know because I tried to make mine through December 1st, I miss calculated due to the fact that November has 30 days, and this being December 31st, I figured I was safe in assuming I was 11 months out, but MS said NO.

Hi Pluto,

Last year Hershey's chocolate did a promotion where you submitted (I think) 275 hershey wrappers & you got 150.00 back in Southwest GC's... Well, you guessed it... I traded for the 1100 Hershe wrappers & got the 600.00! Total cost was between 160 & 170... What a deal!! (By the way, I was able to trade for the wrappers because I belonged to a refunders/coupon trading group)

That's wierd PLUTO. I had Page at MS and she wouldn't let me book Dec. 1st. She said I had to call back Wed. Jan. 2nd to book it as and add on to our reservations ! But she told me not to worry as no one else could book it either. Now I am worried, as I hear others are booking it. I don't want to be sleeping in the parking lot at VWL. ;)

You're right Pluto, it was a nice promotion!!!

You know, I was going to post a message last week, in the past I thought the 11 month policy started the day after your check-in date... For instance If I was booking for November 26th, I would have to book it on December 27th, under the 11 month policy....

Well, last week the policy must've changed (or it changed sometime in the near past), because last Friday when I booked for November (I don't remember which date it was), I could book eleven months from my CHECK-IN date (but only the check-in date, not the whole stay).... I'm very sure on this, because I was quite shocked...

Not sure if I read that right, but as far as I know, it's always been 11 omnths from date of check-OUT. Because of the holiday, I am doing it day by day.
