What is your Disney Funniest Moment?

My is A while back I was walking to The car after eating so much at Chef Mickey's. It's night and out of no where I step on a snake (I'm deathly afraid of snakes) I scream like crazy and jump in the car and scream some more! My family is laughing historically and they still laugh about it today.( I still don't think it's funny)

My funny experience would be from our very first trip in 2004.

We are walking right down the middle of Main Street USA for the very first time and I am really taking everything in, just loving the place.

All of a sudden the trolley car with the horse is coming down the street. I decided to stop and watch. I happen to look over just in time to see the horse poop. I am not good with that kind of stuff at all and a proceed to gag the minute I see this happen!!!. I am gagging so hard that I am starting to see stars and I can't get away fast enough.

My family just starts laughing at me so hard that they start seeing stars too!!

I am sure it was a funny scene for others too. :rotfl2:

Back in 1998, I went to MGM with three friends, one who was a CM. Well, he knew exactly when the pic was taken on ToT and someone had the brilliant idea that we should spell out YMCA for the photo.

Did you know there is only one letter in the four that you can screw up? The "C" is the only one that you can accidently make make backwards if you're not paying attention. The other three are symmetrical.

Guess who got the "C"? Yep, me. When we got down to view the photos my friends started laughing hysterically. Genius I am, I didn't catch on right away. I managed to screw up the "C" by reversing it.

They all swore that they were going to buy the pic, but I threaten them within an inch of their life. Needless to say, I didn't live it down for a very long time. ~ And I'm supposed to be the "smart one" :sad2:

Where were you in May of 2005? My funniest moment happened then, at BCV, also involving a snake. We were getting off a bus along with bunches of other people. Suddenly, we saw a snake slithering on the walkway in front of us. The lady in front of me screamed, "Holy Sh----!" Now, remember, this is a family place and she was pushing a stroller and had a preschooler with her besides. Pause about one second. When the reality of what she'd done sunk it, the poor woman looked so embarrassed (the dirty look from her DH helped remind her how loud she'd been). Fortunately, a CM was there who wasn't afraid of snakes, so he just picked it up and tossed it down toward the little waterway.

One of the funniest things I saw this last trip was a young man, about 17 or so leaving Epcot. There were these posts about 3 1/2 feeet or 4 feet tall to control the crowd, and this kid decides to put his hands on the top of the post and leap over it. Except he didn't completely clear it.:rotfl: Quite a few of us were truly lol as he limped away. I bet that hurt:lmao:

A cast member had scared my daughter with a Stitch hand in Cosmic Ray's and I was laughing at her. We walked across the side toward the bathrooms and little did I know the same cast member has whispered to my daughter that he was going to scare me. Just before we got to that hallway for the bathrooms a nig Stitch hand appears in front of my face and scares the bejeezus out of me. I jump, I scream,:scared1: the entire area of tables right there busts into laughter. And my 8 year old daughter looks at me and says "I knew he was gonna do that"

We were at Crystal Palace DD is terrified of anything in a costume. She was so focused on the characters in front of her. Tigger came from behind us and put his hand on DDs shoulder. When she looked through the corner of her eye and saw it was a costume she let out the loudest shrieeeeeek I ever heard. She truely scared Tigger and Piglet to the point that Piglet knocked over my coffee cup right into my lap. Tigger did a real human bounce:lmao: (he was not expecting that to come out of her mouth):rotfl2:

We were in the Muppetvision preshow. Something happened and my 4 year old nephew says loudly That scared the sh*t outta me! The people around us were hysterical laughing. We were mortified. Figures the first time he tries to swear we are in Disney World!

Back in 2004, me and the fam were heading into maharaja jungle trek. As we entered, there was a cast member at the gate cradling what appeared to be a baby komodo dragon. There were a bunch of other guests hovering around her so I tiptoed over. “Is that real?” I asked her as I approached. “Yes,” she nodded. As I looked down at it she made a growling/roaring noise and shoved the dragon in my face. The CM and the guests around were in stitches as I grabbed my chest hoping my heart didn’t stop. OK it was just a stuffed toy. Boy, did I feel like an idiot or what?? When my heart rate returned to near normal, I acknowledged the great gag and moved on…a little wiser.

A few trips back, my sister had just had unexpected knee surgery right before we left so she was in a wheelchair all of the trip. We were at Epcot, and I was pushing her. We stopped to take pictures with Spaceship Earth in the background and as I was taking the picture of mom and dad, we hear her screaming. We turn and look and she is rolling down the hill and didn't know how to stop! We start running after her, but it was hard to do while laughing!

My family was getting ready to get on the Great Movie ride, and we were the last people to get through the door to be let onto the ride. My mom and brother were a little bit ahead of my dad, who was carrying me (I was a baby), so they found a seat quickly, but there was no more room for my dad on that bench, so he rushed to find someplace to sit (the row behind them). Unfortunately he couldn't see where he was going very we as I was blocking his view. He went to sit down, only there wasn't any seat there as it was the space for wheelchairs. My dad fell backwards onto his bum with me in his arms. The CMs rushed over right away shouting, "Sir, sir, are you ok?!" haha my poor dad was so embarassed. Now we always ask him if he's ok when we go on that ride lol! :rotfl:

My mom and I took DD to WDW for the first time when she was 3. We had a great time, and we must have told DD that Disney had lots of "magic"- the fireworks, characters, castle, etc, all were magical.

On our last morning before departing, we ate at 'Ohana. DD loved meeting Mickey, Goofy, and Chip & Dale. During the meal, she had to go to the bathroom. I escorted her to the ladies' restroom and helped her "do her thing". When she was finished, the automatic flushing mechanism engaged. DD looked at the potty and her eyes got really big. She looked at me, and in a really loud voice, said, "Mommy- even the potties are MAGIC at Disney!!" I heard giggling from all the other ladies in the restroom- it was the cutest thing!

We were watching the Boo to You parade at MNSSHP in September. My DS4 was so excited about the Headless Horseman. He is very vocal and loud, and asked us "So Mama, now where is that Headless Horse?". Now that would be cool :scared1:
He also replied to Crush at Turtle Talk when Crush asked "Where are you from little dude?". My son said "From the hotel of course!" We never know what he is gonna say.

I love to people watch at the Aladdins Magic Carpet ride, where the camel spits water at people walking by. It's freaking hilarious! When we were there in Dec, an older guy was walking by and it hit him straight on the side of the head! He started looking all around, kinda mad looking :rotfl: and wiping his head off.

I know he thought someone threw water at him lol but he never even looked up! I saw several people get hit and other's around them just laughed and never told them where the water came from! :rotfl:

ON our 1st family trip to WDW we stayed at CBR. We were enjoying the main pool, my DH and DS were in the kiddie pool so I decided to go get into the hot tub well I misjudged how far the step down was and fell right into a stange mans lap. :headache:I was so embarrassed I sat there for about 20 sec then got out.

My DH & I were in MGM back in November of 2004 waiting for the parade. We were on a corner so I was busy looking around. I never saw Cruella come up behind me. When I turned around she was there, in my face. I must have yelped or screamed because my DH and those around us were laughing. My reaction - HI!. She was awesome

Not our "funniest" moment but the last time we were there, my son walked into one of those posts.
He was lollygagging(as all 4 year olds usually do) and was watching something else with his head turned. I told him to watch out, I guess he didn't hear me. Anyway, he never cried he just said thats ok I saw it coming. Which made me and his father laugh so hard...Maybe that was our funniest moment...:lmao:

Anyway, Our funniest moment was ToT. My son begged us to go on that ride. He was scared of HM but had to do ToT! When the ride was over, he looked at his dad and went "Phew...Now I can breathe!" We still laugh about it to this day and the trip was almost 3 years ago!

Ours happened a few years ago. My DW, DS and I went to MNSSHP. I went dressed as Winnie the Pooh, my son as Prince Charming and my wife as Jessie. We decided to go on the Astro Orbiter in Tomorrowland. Well, as we board the ride I found that in my costume I had very little wiggle room. Fastening the lap belt was completely out of the question! Well, as the ride ends and we go to exit, I find that with my big Pooh belly (covering my own big belly) I'm stuck!! :scared1: I'm trying like h*** to push myself out. My son is pulling on one arm and a CM is pulling on the other. Everyone is grunting and straining to get me loose. Where is my wife? She is standing next to me, doubled over laughing at me! I think that they are going to need the jaws of life to free me from the ride and she has tears in running down her face because she is laughing so hard!!!
Great memory...:rotfl:

Just last year we were lunching at Liberty Tree, and at the end of the meal I ran up the steps to the restroom and stopped to say hi to a CM on my way. Well, I get to the top of the stairs and the line is out the door, so I just turn right around and go back down the steps, past the same CM. He commented on my quickness, and I just said the line was too long and headed back to the table.

Next thing I know, he sneaks up behind me and dumps Mickey confetti all over my head and says "Here's a little pixie dust to help you hold it!" :lmao:

Who knew Tinkerbell could help with bladder control??

This happened on one of my many trips with a High School Band...

DH, myself and another Band Dad/chaperone were waiting for the band to arrive at MK. We were loitering just outside the turnstile area when both men noticed a young mother in really, really short shorts standing not very far from us. The young mother stopped and bent over to adjust the stroller she was pushing, making her shorts even shorter and giving us a very inappropriate view.

Out of nowhere comes a CM who runs up to the young mother and shouts, "Hey, Lady, stand up and pull your shorts down! This is a family park!" The CM proceeded to give the young mother a lecture about not bending over and keeping herself covered.

DH looks at the other Band Dad and says, "Now there's the job for me when I retire. I'm going to be the CM who watches for women wearing too small shorts all day long!"

Hi have 2 funny things that have happended to me

1) Our first trip to disney and we were at MK just before the castle. I was spell bound and looked a bit subdued, suddenly a police man comes up to me and tells me I have comitted a serious crime and then proceeds to write out a fine ticket. As you can imagine I am worried at this point thinking I have somehow broken the law (im from the uk). He then hands me a ticket and walks away. I look at the ticket and it says I have comitted a crime by looking grumpy whilst at WDW....well you can imagine how funny this was and how relieved I was that I had not done anything "wrong" my wife wouldnt let me live this down as I must have been the only person who was grumpy at WDW

2) We had just left a park and was driving out of the car park heading towards our next hotel at Tampa. My wife suddenly screams and demand I pull over. Suddenly she jumps out of the car and screams that she has seen a strange "white spider" near her window inside the car. She insisted that as it was Florida it would probably be poisonous and point blank refused to get back in the car. We were stuck for about 45 mins, whilst she made me totaly strip out all of our luggage, bags of goodies and eveything out of the car whilst I searched for this "poisonous white spider". I really didnt know how we would sort this as she really woundt get back inside the car and we had to get on our way. I never did find this spider and all the way to Tampa she kept looking straight ahead totaly still like a statue in case she happened to see it again...ignorance is bliss...we laughed about this for ages after.

I have thought of another...whilst in disney land in paris we were hanging around and suddenly my wife noticed that our hired pushchair had been taken. Now fortunately there were no kids in it at the time but there was our rucksack with purses, camera, passports, everything. My wife panicked big time and we looked around frantically searching for the thief, suddenly we see "Pluto" riding in the pushchair holding our bag whilst one of the chipmonks was pushing him around fast....oh my goodness we laughed soo much whilst at the same time relieved that our bag and push chair weren't stolen.

We've definitely had our share of funny moments. The best one coming to mind right now is from when I was probably about 6. My parents, my sister and I were walking into one of the parks (MGM I believe). My mom was a little bit ahead of us and there was a couple walking near her. All of a sudden, the man puts his hand on my mom's behind because he thought it was his wife/girlfriend. He had his hand there for a few good moments, and then suddenly he looks over at my mom and realizes his mistake. My mom thought it was a riot, especially since the woman he was with was a twig and my mom was not.

Or the time when I went to Disney with my high school choir (can't sing a note! Joined only because I knew they were going :)). My parents went down too (not as chaperones) because my mom can't accept her kids being in Disney without her. So we're all in Epcot one day and my friends and I have to meet our chaperone. At the same time, my mom is waiting for the parade. So the bridge my friends and I have to cross to meet our chaperone is closed. Luckily, we were able to explain our situation to a CM, she radios someone, and my friends are escorted through the parade route by security who is telling us to wave to the crowd. Unknown to me at the time, I end up passing my parents and my mom is shocked by the sight of her daughter being escorted by park security. But not shocked enough to get out of her prime parade viewing spot.

I also strongly encourage families to bring video cameras to capture their Disney vacation when their children are young. My sister and I are grown now and last year my family randomly started watching our old home videos, including our Disney vacation. I have never laughed so hard in my life. The video starts with my mom filming us at home before we left.

Mom: Katie (me) [Last Name], you just graduated kindergarten! What are you going to do next?
Me: I'm going to Disney World!
Mom: Kelly (sis) [Last Name], you just graduated fourth grade! What are you going to do next?
Sis: [slight disgust] I gotta go with her!

The memorable and funny moments are what make me love Disney so much.

Ok I have two...Both invovling My DD(Age 4).

On our last trip, we were standing in line in the POTC. It was a hot day...everyone was sweaty...and the line was moving slowly. We're standing there shuffling along when the stench Hit us...Someone had decided it was a nice time to crop dust the entire POTC line with a nice egg fart. So everyone obviously smells it...and we all start playing the "I wonder who did it GAme" My choice was the pretty Mom about 3 people in front of us...she looked a little to uncomfortable to me...But I digress...About 2 minutes into the "Game" my DD (Age4) looks at me and says "DADDY YOU POOPED YOUR PANTS" The whole of the Line stops moving...and looks dead at me...I was now the "Farter Of The Carribean" (Arrrrgggg) I swear to god...I recieved enough stinkeyes in that 15 minute wait as I had in the entirety of my life...(Excluding my mother of course) Thanks Honey...Daddy will always be your hairy gas bag.

During our previous trip The DD (Age 3) was just getting the hang of being potty trained...She was acually really good at it...So we're about to get on the jungle cruise when she urgently says "I Gotta PEEEEEEE". So It's my turn to take her to the bathroom. I take off and find the bathroom...and we head in. Now you have to remember, mens restrooms have a line of Urinals...then a Whole Line of Stalls...So we find an open stall...the last open one BTW, and in we go. She hops up on the potty and promptly takes care of business. I tell her she's a good girl etc... Well, as we are already there, I decide I need to empty my bladder too, so I couldn't stand up and go, so I sa down and went potty. As I finish...My DD(Age3) says in her loudest 3 year old voice "GOOD BOY DADDY GOOD BOY...I'm SO PROUD OF YOU! You WENT POTTY LIKE A BIG BOY" Swear to god...every stall in the place started laughing...in fact as they heard each other laughing the laughing got louder. Well...I have a very strong "Don;t Give a Crap" streak in me and we head out of the stall to wash our hands. Suddenly I'm getting the high Sign from all the Guys...Even got a couple of comments like "That's what life is all about"

Nothing like being Bathroom Rock Stars at Disney.

That is too funny!

My story involves our daughter's BFF who seems to go to Disney with us every trip. We just finished riding Test Track and were walking through the showroom. The kids run up to the little stage area off to the left and were looking around. We called them when we were ready to go and DBFF decides to grab the railing bar and swing under it to meet us. What she didn't realize that under the bar was glass! She crashed into the glass making a big Thud sound. We all started laughing and then of course made sure she was ok - which she was.

I can NOT agree more!!!!!!!!!! Sure, pictures are worth a thousand words, but videos are priceless!!!!!!

My sister was probably around 4 or so. We were sitting in the front of the monorail with the driver, and she asks him, "Sir, if there's a bird on the track, do you stop and wait for him to move?" It was the cutest thing!

We have this on tape and it is adorable!

I feel so bad for posting this but what the heck.
When I was about 8 we went on a trip to Disney for my birthday. For birthday dinner we went to the Rainforest Cafe. Well I was walking around with my mom(she has a video camera) and looking around at all the different animals that are in the restaurant. If you have been there before you know that it can get a little dark in there. Well it was during the part with the storm when we were walking down a small set of stairs. Well lets just say mom is holding the camera and can see the stairs. She trips down them and i was laughing at her. The convo that is recorded when something like this.
Mom: Amanda, why didn't you tell me there were stairs there?
Me: I thought you could see them.
Mom: How can I see them Amanda ( sarcastic laugh)
Me: Just because your holding a camera doesn't mean you have lost your eyeballs.

Here is another one
My last Disney trip we had a character breakfast at the Polly.
I was sitting there enjoying my food when all the sudden I look down and see a big yellow head on my lap....... It's Pluto. I scream holly s*** and almost fall out of my chair!
My family was making fun of me for the rest of the trip.
