View Full Version : Passport expiring!

Will be traveling October 2007 to Disney (flying) and our passports expire January 2008. Does anyone know if the passports are valid to travel with? The reason I ask is, some countries require the passport to be valid for 6 months from the date of departure. I've been unable to find out from the Canadian Passport web site.

It's not the Canadian passport site you should be checking, but that of the country you will be visiting.

my parents' passport expires in April and they just travelled 2 weeks ago to florida so you'll have no problems.

you should be ok but not a bad idea to call US customs and immigration at your airport.

We are going October 2007 as well and my kids' passports are all due to expire shortly after. I did check into it and the USA is not a country that requires 6 months or more validity so you are fine.

Thanks PrincessasMommy! That is a relief...and one less expense I have to worry about.
We're at the POR Oct26-Nov3 and hoping the do MNSSHP on Oct.30th.
