question about scaffolding

We will be a BWV (2br, preferred view) the 2nd week in February. What happens if there is scaffolding outside of your room? Are you still charged for a preferred view if all you can see is the back of a sheet of plastic drop cloth?

When we were there in August we were told that those rooms are not used.

Just got back 12/24 and we saw rooms with scaffolding overlooking quiet pools. I don't think those rooms were occupied. They were really hammering away. I wouldn't worry at all. Now on the other hand, in 1996, we were at the beach club for one night and our room had nasty scaffolding but that's another story....

At the annual meeting they said that rooms with the scaffolding aren't being used. At a result BWV will only have 78% (we 'think')of the normal availability. They are trying to do 1 whole section at a time. The entire quiet pool area was 'scaffolded' while we were there. The only problem will be the main pool area as it is so big it will be done in two parts.
