IS there a way to add on days to my hopper pass?

I am sure this has been asked/answered a million times, but I never really paid too much attention.
I have one day left on my hopper passes and I am starting to plan another trip for the Fall. This time around I will be concentrating on Universal and Sea World. However, I don't think I can go to FL and not spend at least 2 days at WDW. Can I add on days to my hopper pass, or would it just be easier/cheaper to buy a one day pass to one of the parks?

The answer is................

No you can not add more days.. I was just there 3 weeks ago and asked.
They look up your ticket and check the date that you first used it.. You have a week
after the first day you use it to add days.

You can have the value of the unused day on your old pass applied to the purchase of a new park hopper. But it will be less expensive to use an older, less expensive ticket as is and buy a one-day ticket for the 2nd day.
