Enlighten me

We are going to DL at the end of the moth. So far we are scheduled to do dinner one night at Goofy's Kitchen and we have one Character Breakfast scheduled with Minnie & Friends. Is there anything else that we should not miss? How is Ariel's Grotto? My kids are 4 (boy) and 2 (girl).

I would skip Ariel's Grotto. The food and selection aren't as good as they used to be, and they really rush the princesses through. If you want to see the princesses, you're better off going to the princess fantasy faire. You'll get more one on one time.

It's over in Disneyland, next to Toontown and IASW. You have to wait in line to see the princesses, but you are guaranteed to see 3 of them, and you get good one on one time with them. Also, they rotate the princesses frequently, so you can get back in line and see different ones. :)

It's where the old Snow White show used to be, between ToonTown and Fantasyland. Since you have a 4yo boy, I'd also recommend the Jedi training academy. My 9yo ds and 5yo dd got chosen to train and they had a fabulous time. They couldn't stop talking about how they got to fight Darth Vadar and we eventually got them their own lightsabers.

Forgive the ignorance. Is this a place to eat, or just a place to visit the princesses? I'm so clueless....:confused:

You just visit the princesses there. They do have a snack bar, but you're not exactly dining with them. ;) Though if you sit off to the side a bit, a lot of times you will catch the princesses coming and going as they are being rotated out, and often they will stop for hugs and pictures.

It has many things to do besides the meet and greet with the princesses. There's storytelling by the princesses, a place to get your hair done or face painted. There's also a place for arts and crafts where kids can color and decorate paper crowns. I believe there's also a coronation ceremony where multiple princesses are on stage and the kids are taught to bow and curtsy. And there's also a little snack bar too.
