Hotel suggestions...December trip

DH and I are hoping to go down to Orlando at the beginning of December. It'd be just the two of us. It will be the first time by ourselves, generally go with family, and don't know where to stay. We're looking to stay in a fairly moderate priced hotel - definitely budget conscious though as DH is still in school. Any suggestions on where to stay or possible places to look for a good deal?

if you have a car.

if you don't have a car - stay onsite at WDW in a value resort.

you can get a value resort for $82 w/o taxes - with taxes $92.25 per night.

disney will even take you back and forth to the airport for that price. you might even find a discount.
