Anyone have experience last year or the year before Free Dining on your campsite ressie, if you were there at the right time of year for Free Dining?

I tried it in the online reservations system, and I can buy Dining on a campsite reservation, but I'm curious if they'd block it from the Free Dining promotion.

Thanks!

Only the cabins have been included in past offers.

you cannot get free dining on a campsite ressie (which when you think about it makes perfect sense 'cause during the free dining likely dates, campsites go for under $50 a night... and they'd be giving away more than that in food, esp since campsites can hold up to ten people!)... you can pay for dining on a campsite ressie, even during the free dining promotion...

during free dining, it's cheaper to stay at a value resort than to camp!

Definitely not on the campsites.

I remember a thread from the first year's free dining promo where people booked a value resort with the offer and then didn't stay there, such as DVC members who booked a points room only then the value resort with dining for 4...they still came out with a better deal than adding and paying for the dining with their DVC ressie. I could see that happening with the campsites if it were offered and can't imagine Disney would let someone pay a relatively small amt. for a campsite and then free dining for all guests at the site. ---kathy

No, Disney wouldn't do that. Can you imagine? $45 or so for a site, and 10 people on free dine! At least the Pop Century is limited to 4.
