Vero Beach in August

What are the chances I can get Vero Beach in late August? What are the temperatures and humidity like?

I had an August 07 reservation made 6 months early, wasn't a problem then. Weather will be hot and humid, expect thunderstorms ans maybe worse.

I've read here, about a week ago that all summer weeks are filled.

I changed our ressy to SSR.

If you keep your reservation and times flexible, you may be able to get in..

Temperature is not that bad since you are by the ocean... As others have said though, that time of year is hurricane season.. The odds are low that it could be hit, but keep in mind that back in 2004, two hurricanes touched down in VB and the resort was closed for six weeks or so...
