We count all pages with journaling and pictures, they don't have to be Disney. On this thread you only have to say how many pages you completed. If you want to post pictures feel free to or you can post them on the picture sticky.

New England Eeyore

I'm on the board with 2 pages!
I think if your pages intentionally don't have journalling they certainly count. They don't count if you leave the journalling off, to be done "later." Those count when later actually comes!

As long as you don't plan on journaling them later they count for the challenge. I changed your numbers on the original post to 45. Great start for the month!!!!!
Rebecca
Last month was pretty pathetic for me, with only 4 pages completed. But this month is starting out great... we'll see if it continues. So far I've completed and delivered the numbers album I started for my niece last June. Plus I got a whole ABC album completed for my DS. So all in all I've already completed 56 pages, plus 40 flash cards that went along with the numbers album for my DNiece.

Alright, one more question since you've all been so helpful and motivating. Can I give totals for January and February too? I wasn't checking this forum at that point, but I was scrapbooking, and I know how many pages I've completed for the year so far. It's totally fine if I can't, I was just curious as I'm eager to start and help out the totals - I feel lame not having completed any in a month, but before that I had done 100 pages (exactly, wow, i had to go back and recount) in January and February. It was a bad time in my life, and thusly a productive time for scrapping. C'est la vie, eh? :artist: That makes me sound like a character in a bad movie wearing a beret and speaking with a phony French accent. "From pain comes art" or some such plattitude. Man, I should go to bed. I think I need the sleep. :faint: Sorry for the random thought chain at the end there... :sad2:

Thanks again Rebecca and SIOH! Both for the help and kind words. Life is better now...I was devestated by my fiance leaving me, and having to move back into my parents house, and not having my teaching job next year...like I said, it was a bad time. I wanted to let you know though that I appreciated your kind words and I am doing well now. It's so nice to have such a supportive group on here - I'm glad I found you all! Also on a happy note, I finally finished all of my tax junk, so I'm off to scrapbook.

I teach orchestra and music theory, but I think I'm going to go back and do graduate work next year. I took this position knowing that it would only be two years long, but was really expecting it to continue on - hoping the previous teacher wouldn't want to come back to his job! ;) Ah well, if I can go back to graduate school, it really would be a great opportunity. Life changed a whole lot for me this year, but I think it could really be a positive thing. I definetly want to go back to teaching at some point, but now would be a good time to get a masters in violin performance - a good reason to be out of a job. I came on to mention my productive day - I got 31 pages done, and finally finished my Disney vacation from 2004...I wonder what I did in 2005? Hmm, have to go back and look. :confused3

I thought they might motivate people to move up just a bit- Like if I just finish another 2 pages I can have a smilie! I know that I am working to get my pages done so I can get to the next level in the annual thread. I have to do another 30 something more to move up. Thanks, Rebecca! Now that you put it that way I feel better! I have been trying to scrap at night when I get home from work, even if it's just getting things together for the next day. For some reason late nights are my most productive time anyway, so might as well take advantage of that. My totals for the month won't be too high because I'll have that big gap but a little at a time is good!

I finished up another 32 pages this evening for a Numbers album for DS. That puts me at 88 for the month. But I'm up to May 2001 so steaming ahead :rotfl: DH is going out with the lads tonight so I'm going to be really good, not watch rubbish TV ("finding a Danny and Sandy", I ask you:rolleyes: ) and get loads done. Ooooh, 4 pages at least:rotfl2:
32 pages in one evening:scared1: Don't be so shocked. They were nearly done, just needed a bit of tweaking and printing out. I made both DS's ABC album and Numbers album on the computer and printed/cropped the pages down for the actual books. He's two and loves going through them. Even as I was working on them on the computer he would make me stop so he could look at the pictures. If y'all want I'll post them for ya... Trust me, they are very basic but they work.

Any size pages count as long as they are complete.Really? Any size? If things go like they did when DS was born, I'll be doing mini-albums for a while soon. When I say mini, I mean 4x3.75 or smaller. I made a 3x4 for myself that I still carry around, and the others for DH & MIL at various times during DS's first year. That was about all I could really find time to do during those first months.
Please do. I love seeing everyones work:goodvibes
This is the Numbers album I just finished for DS. As I said before it is pretty basic, but for a 2 year old it works well.

I know! It looks like April will be a huge month on our Annual thread!! I keep thinking I'll have time to scrap each night, but I've had to bring work home every night--don't they realize state testing shouldn't get in the way of my scrapping???

I finally got my work done for work this morning, and I got some time to scrap!! I got 2 CJ pages done to get me up to speed on that, and I got 25 pages done in my March album. I only lack 1 page having that book done!! I'm so excited!!
That gives me 27 for today, bringing me to 155 for the month.
Shawna, your all day crop retreat sounds great!! Congrats on getting so many pages done!! :thumbsup2

I managed to do 23 :woohoo: pages this weekend - DH was away so I stayed up late. :surfweb: Bringing me to 87. My personal goal is 100 but not sure if I will make that. DS turns 4 on thursday and I have to do a major cleaning and his party is on saturday.

Really?
If all you do is place a single picture the right size on the page (like adding a photo to a wallet) I wouldn't count them- but if you are framing the photos, adding some journaling, adding embelishments, or such then I would say it counts. Sometimes when i have done small pages like that I have counted a 2 page spread as one page instead of 2.

I'm just making up for all of those YEARS (not months, but years) when I didn't do any scrapping!! :) Plus, with the whole not coaching anymore thing, I have a little more time in the afternoons. I try to get some scrapping in before DH comes home. If we had kids, I don't know how I'd do it--I'd probably just say, "Honey, come look at the computer and see the pics mommy took of you, because they'll never be scrapped!!" :rotfl2: I don't know how you all do it!

Well, let me tell you.. with 5 kids.. it's a tough one... I think it's great if I can get anything done during the day.. even with them at school.. I can't get caught up on the housework to scrap most of the time... I have to change that!!
I won't get much more done in April.. but May.. is an off month from sports... only tournaments on the weekends.. no games after the first week in May.. so I'm determined to hit 100 in May.. if that means I have to go down and bury myself behind loads and loads of :laundy: I am going to get some scrapbooks accomplished!!!!!!!!!! If not... there are going to be problems..
My kids always ask to look at the pictures on the computer because I haven't had time to print them off yet...

Nancy, I don't know how you keep it all straight!! And with all of the sports, too! I would never be able to do it! :)

Three more for me. My problem is that I take too much time on one page. I am trying to simplify - I have too many pictures to be scrapped to go all out on them all - but I can't stop myself from embelishing. It's a sickness I tell ya!

I edited the list through here. Mazda you earned your next smilie. Bobcat you are only 3 pages away from a smilie.

I finished up 2 more pages last night, for a CJ. I think I finally fell into bed around 3am. Guess I'm practicing for the sleepless nights that are about to hit in a couple of weeks. :rotfl:

I made a disney book for my DD this weekend so she could show off her trip at school. I also finished her baby book. At least all that I can for right now!!!! So I have 32 pages to add to my total this month. I am getting ready to start a new project. So now I have to finish cleaning up my scrap area so I can change gears and do beach vacation pages. I am very excited to start a new project!!
Everyone is doing great on completing pages. Love to hear that we have worked so hard on our passion!

April is quickly running away from me here! Grrr... I plan on scrapping a ton today (of course, my definition of "ton" is like 5-7 pages! Some of you would say 30 pages = a ton! :rotfl2: ).
Hold me accountable!! :thumbsup2

I updated through here. I had to take the smilie for 30 off those who had made it to 50 also since they wouldn't let me have but so many smilies in one post.

I did 5 more. A pretty pathetic month for me. I have some layouts partially done, but need to get the Disney cartridges to finish them. Since I'm going away for the weekend and not taking my scrapbook stuff with me. I guess thats all I'm going to get for April. Hopefully May will be a better month.

Updated through here. I will update our weekend pages on Sunday as we are taking a quick trip to Orlando to check out a seminary and then visit Disney. I would actually like a bit of time at home.

Hey, my BIL goes to seminary out there. It's called Reformed Theological Seminary, I believe. And I think it's in Oveido - near Orlando. It's so nice to have an excuse to go out there to "see family". Oh, and happen to throw in a big Disney trip too, LOL! :thumbsup2
Oh, you can add 3 more pages to my little total, and then I'll be doing a bunch more this weekend.

Well, looks like my current total is my final total for the month. I'm going out of town for the weekend so I won't be getting any more pages done. I'm glad I got done what I did!
Good job to everyone who got pages done this month!! See you next month . . .
