Okay. We talked about long distance on my other thread. Let's talk Instant Messaging here. Is this a way we could "talk" without running up huge phone bills? I want a chance to "talk" to everyone here. Has anyone started a list of Instant Messagers (is that a word  )? Is there more than one way to do it? Will someone help me?
Okay. Talk amongst yourselves. :D

I think Patrick was making a list and checking it twice, but not sure how far that went. I think I'm on AOL instant messaging as disneycub0417, but will have to get back to you on that. AOL just irritates me with all of their ads, pop-ups, etc. But that's just my not-so-humble opinion. That and $1.00 will buy you a cup of coffee. :D

I'm AOL too......but I forget to use it.
Maybe we should all get the 'Family Plan' cell phones. :D :D :D
I'm PM'ing, e-mailing, and calling people right now......trying to plan our DISneyland meet. :) This is crazy! I just woke up poor Tammy to ask her about the Hilton. :o Sorry Tammy. :o
Okay, I need to shower.....I'll get back into planning mode in a bit.......hold on........
And please, please, please let me know if you guys figure out something easier! :)

We used to have MSN messenger (I think that is what it was/is) Haven't used it since DH moved back home but I think it is still loaded on the machine. I'll have to check it out.
I am on ICQ, Yahoo Messanger and AOL Instant Messanger, but, often times, I don't have Yahoo on. Should we post numbers/names as well?

I know that I am able to actually talk to my son in NC while here in Michigan thru yahoo messenger. They actually have a voice chat and there is a conferencing that my kids use but I will have to ask them just how to set it up. By the way, it was great IMing with you today on AOL:D

Ok...lets try this again..since I only had 4 people send me theirs last time :)
Email me at patinmn@yahoo.com with any IM program User name you use...
for example
j-doe on AOL
J-doe on Yahoo
j-doe on MSN
j-doe on whatever
I will compile a list and will send it to those of you who signed up. So I will give this 10 days and will get the list out right after that.
Please do not list them on the boards for security reasons.

I am on AIM and MSN. I am downloading AIM (aol) today in my office machine. I will be there a loooooooong time from now on. I am also requesting a laptop from my corporation: I will be travelling a lot around the country and need a safe port to my data. I don't know if they will indulge me with that, but all I think is that when I am weeks alone in the sandy beaches of Salvador this will be a lifesaver, to be able to remain in touch with all of you.

My mother's name is Emma Belle and as a surprise to everyone here,
