best rate for National 1 day rental?

We're meeting some friends for dinner, so we need to rent a car for 1 day in late January. We'll be staying at SOG. I just checked National & they quoted me $44 for 1 day with economy car & no extras. Any ideas on how to get cheaper? I can get a free upgrade with my BJ's membership.

I don't know what date you need but if you check their Florida Specials page you can rent for $40 and under until Jan 20th.
