What are the normal policies on lost luggage/stolen items?
We will be flying Midwest Exp non-stop next week.:bounce:
Being an avid pin collector -- I plan on taking a full pin bag with me, coming and going. ;) DH says since it's a non-stop I should be safe in packing the pin bag between layers of clothes in my suitcase. (I lock my cases too, if that really makes a difference. ;) )
This sound safe to you? (We are talking lottsa $ in pins.)
I plan on taking an inventory anyway, for my own purposes.
I have debated about carry on. And I don't really want the hassle and be worried more that the pins may/could be confiscated.
I have also considered FedEx-ing them back and forth.

I wouldn't worry too much about it.

Hey Gail - where ya been?

If you have homeowners or renter's insurance, look into whether your possessions are covered while traveling. We had a problem once with travel damage that was covered by our homeowner's insurance.

I am with Pluto on this one, I definitely would not worry.
Pluto, I have been here, but, remember where I work and what time of year it is and that pretty much says it all. ;)
