My DH is taking 4 clients to a Manchester United game in April and is trying to book a hotel. Having never been to Manchester before wondered if anyone had any suggestions. He arrives mid afternoon and has to be at Old Trafford at around 6.30pm.
Would it be best to stay in the centre? How far is that from Old Trafford? Is any of the shopping centres that have Apple stores nearby?
Thanks

We always stay al Malmaison, but the Lowry is supposed to be even better. The nice thing about Malmaison is that it is right next door to picadilli gardens so you can walk just about anyhwere in the city centre. It's nice and close to china town for tastey late night meals
