Pacer for RFTT?

OK, registration is in the mail! :yay:
This is my first time doing something like this. I know DH is gonna leave me way behind. Do they have pacers for this race? Especially at the back? :rotfl:

I'm gonna be so worried about being made to get in the bus!

I did the RFTT last October and I don't recall seeing any pacing groups. I would be surprised if there were pacing groups, as the only race I've seen at Disney with pacing is the full marathon. The half marathon doesn't have any pacing groups either.

Oh, will they let us use our Nike+ ipods? DH has one and I know it gives you your pace. I'm hoping to get one for Mother's Day. :idea:

The official stance is they are not encouraged BUT Disney will let you use them. I wore my iPod in the RFTT and full marathon without any problems. So just download some really groovin' music that gets you pumped and you won't have to worry about the sweeper van! :thumbsup2

Oh, good! The half DH was just in also said no headphones, but I think everyone had them on.

Now I just need to work on a playlist. I usually listen to podcasts while walking, but really need some music while running. Unfortunately, my knowledge of music these days is tween Disney so I best start trying to dig up some music! :rotfl:
