Certificate and Recap CD

I was just wondering if anyone has received their Disney Marathon and CD recap yet. I know the e-mail said we should get them before the 31st but that time is getting close.

Just a clarification.....I thought the certificates were going to be mailed by the 31st, not that we were going to receive them by that date. :confused3

You are correct upon re-reading the e-mail it does say they will be mailed no later than the 31st.

I just sent my racing partner an email saying "Wooohoo Disney will be shipping out CDs this weekend" :lmao: and personally I don't expect to SEE it until midApril. Guess we're all eagerly awaiting them :hyper:

Can't wait to see it though, I really enjoyed last years and woud put it in to either cheer myself up or get my brain in the right frame of mind to get out there and train :)

Hopefully everyone will post when they start to arrive. Last year I'd tell Susan they were spotted in The Carolinas, Georgia and finally on the west side of our own state LOL Tracking the progress of the Cds closer than the weather ;)

I have this strange urge twice a year to pull out a map of the country and some push pins to mark the course of either CDs or Race Packets (Nov) :lmao:

Brought back some fond memories from January.

It's laid out well, and it's got me itching to go back. :)

The certificate and CD has arrived in Michigan!!!!! I don't recall them being shipping together in the same envelope last year! i was soooo excited to see the big envelope from Disney then upon opening and finding the CD was about to burst! LOL

If you want a bit of fun try to play Where in the World is the WISH member while watching the video at the beginning.

I don't know if I should break the surprise for the lovely lady so I will just say she can be seen in start of the Full Marathon. I had to pull the scroll back a few times but it is definitely her.

Please let me know if you spot WISHers elsewhere. I kept my eyes peeled but mostly saw the N.F. people. There is a couple at the end of the Full huggeing she has dark brown hair but isn't facing the camera and He has a mustache but I don't think they are WISH although their shirt is safety yellow.

Mine arrived yesterday (4/11). Curiously, I still have not received my cert for the DL 1/2 from last September. Guess I need to contact EMMI.

I had another DL 1/2 runner email me at my website looking for help their cert. Steve (Steve@emmi.com) is the reg manager and will help you out very quickly.

I saw a WISH scream team member. Rhonda's husband was in the video. I knew it was him because I met him at MGM.

There were so many memories and people I remember seeing while I was running. Now I remember why I do this!!!

Paul got his over a week ago. I haven't gotten mine. But he ran the half and I did Goofy so maybe there's a difference in how they prioritize shipping.:confused3

I'll have to watch his CD and look for the WISH cameos!

I also saw someone in the background near the finish line, but couldn't make out who it was. Saw a few other WISH shirts, (and some other BRIGHT shirts), but the pics go so fast I can't tell who they are!

I can't believe I met you once in person and picked you out of thousands :lmao: I was all excited when I spotted you, I was sniffling with joy as I yelled at DH "There's Terri!!!!" LOL

So someone is at the finishline? I'll have to put the CD back in and review it frame by frame LOL

I honestly can't say which I enjoyed more. Doing the Half or cheering/seeing our teammates in the Full. :cheer2:
