A Week!!!!

One week and we are on our way!:banana: CSR from 4/4 - 4/11

DD12:cutie: is packing, unpacking and repacking! What to wear, what to bring?

I am pulling out summer wear, checking ressies, checking Orlando weather and generally trying to control myself! Where did I leave my flip-flops?:confused3

DW is not happy:mad: . Say what:confused3 ? That's right, she can't get excited because our taxes aren't done, she can't find someone to cover her shift at work, her boss is a jerk, she's nervous about the flight, nervous about leaving the dog, nervous about the money.......... HELP:scared1: !

I need some advice. Short of a "SNAP OUT OF IT" speach, I'm perplexed! Nothing I say makes her happy. I guess maybe I should just shut up, and hope the "Magic" happens when we arrive..... Your thoughts?

My dad was once the same way. I left him to worry and fret while I packed, repacked and was excited. After failing repeatedly to cheer him up, I stopped trying, stayed out of his way until we were in the car on the way there. He chilled out, and we had a good time. I think if you just wait it out, and quit trying to cheer her up (it might just make her more upset :( ) that when you get there the magic will hit her and she'll cheer up and have a wonderful time.

Oh and under the bed was the first place I looked for the flip-flops! Just dust bunnies and two books I never finished!:lmao:

News flash! Missing flip-flops found... The aforementioned missing flip-flops were discovered buried in the DD12 mess she calls a closet!:lmao:
